QUOTE(se800i @ Jun 12 2019, 03:27 PM) DUITNOW, can anyone advise me how this works and how reliable for this ? just like regular fund transfer but using phone number or IC number. 1. Select “DuitNow” in ur bank's menu (under Transfer) 2. Enter mobile number or NRIC number of ur recipient 3. Confirm recipient’s details and amount to transfer This post has been edited by #Victor: Jun 12 2019, 05:43 PM

Latest ruling by Bank Negara lowered the cash transfer amount from RM50k to RM20k, where banks are required to report to Bank Negara when there are cash transfers that exceed RM20k. Is this only for cash deposit or also bank to bank transfers? Anyone experienced this before? I have some large amounts to transfer from one savings bank account to another, so wondering if this will be an issue.

It is cash deposit where you need to make some declaration, source of funds, purpose of funds etc.
