Can DuitNow system be enhanced with SMS alert to the recipient?
I received money from friends via DuitNow but wasn't alerted.
DuitNow is tied to CIMB.

I guess no ones want to bear the sms charges

I received SMS alert from OCBC when someone transfer funds to me using DuitNow. Not all banks have it though.

Aiyah. I just noticed the fee when I was about to do the Instant Transfer (above 5k). When I was talking to the officer, she said free. Didnt know 5k is free, so cashed out instead.

I thought DuitNow hot promo now. That also they chop same as Instant Transfer.

OCBC is now sending SMS notification for any inward remittance including instant transfer and MEPS GIRO. This is new though. An email is also sent to your registered email. The SMS notification is a welcome change. Previously only Public Bank and Hong Leong Bank send out such SMS notification for inward remittance.

hi pardon if this has been mentioned somewhere before, does anyone know about instant transfers for business bank accounts? which banks provide that?

I have checked a few banks, as far as I know, Maybank and CIMB do not have IBFT for business accounts, Hong Leong does, what about other banks? can others chime in.

Probably HLB doesn’t send out SMS notification for DuitNow. Currently I have not registered for DuitNow for any bank yet. And yes, the SMS notification for inward remittance I’ve received so far from HLB was for IBFT too.

This page describes the contest quite well:

https://www.ocbc.com.my/personal-banking/on...ing/duitnowcny/

You just need to pay with DuitNow to get contest entries. The RM8888 x 8 every day contest is open to all bank customers (not just OCBC’s. The RM2 contest is OCBC only)

Hi, does anyone have an issue with Cimb transfer to MBB using instant transfer? I've been getting this error: This beneficiary bank has rejected the transaction. If this continues, please contact our call center. [MEPS_MY01009].

You need to have others people DuitNow ID in order to send them right? Like that day I bought something from Carousell or some retail store. Online banking method, I ask do you have DuitNow, most of them reply what is that or I dont have this or that. lol

Hi guys, I'm trying to transfer funds from my Maybank to HSBC account. Problem is Maybank2U keeps saying that the minimum digits for HSBC account is 17 digits, when my HSBC account number is only 12 digits sweat.gif Tried using dashes or zeroes but not working so far. Will try customer service tomorrow but if anyone has any idea how to solve it would be much appreciated.
