I believe DuitNow will replace IBFT soon

duitnow rides ontop of paynet, but paynet will eventually takeover IBFT and IBG. this is because people still need to be able to transfer to an account number

paynet is essentially ICTF

No, trying to do payment using Maybank2E FPX. Found out thr problem is actually FPX module is not activated

does bnm or the developers think this need will go away in the future?

Have they sorted out the 1 bank tied to one phone number issue yet? What if I have accounts with two different banks & I want to do a transfer between them? Do I have to buy 2 phones with different phone numbers to do the transfer? What if I have accounts with all banks in the country? One phone number for each?

Or are we not allowed to have accounts with more than one bank?

For DuitNow, you can consider the following:

1) Savings Account 1 in Bank A: linked to your mobile phone number

2) Savings Account 2 in Bank B: linked to your myKad number

3) Savings Account 3 in Bank C: linked to your passport number

If you need to have more saving accounts linked to DuitNow, then you need to have more mobile phone numbers. Or, just transfer money to your other saving accounts, via the usual account numbers.

There is no restriction to have multiple savings accounts, in several banks.

duitnow is only one of services sitting on top of the ICTF. In the near future u should be still be able to use account numbers (without proxy address resolution), or u can save your bank qr code for deposits in your phone gallery

hi pardon if this has been mentioned somewhere before, does anyone know about instant transfers for business bank accounts? which banks provide that?

I have checked a few banks, as far as I know, Maybank and CIMB do not have IBFT for business accounts, Hong Leong does, what about other banks? can others chime in.

Paynet is actually the payments network provider that provide services like IBG, IBFT, RENTAS, Jompay, FPX etc. DuitNow is just a new service introduced by Paynet recently.

Can DuitNow system be enhanced with SMS alert to the recipient?
I received money from friends via DuitNow but wasn't alerted.
