Girls' Generation (Korean: 소녀시대, Hanja: 少女時代, Sonyeo Sidae ) is a nine-member South Korean girl group formed by SM Entertainment in 2007. The nine members are: Taeyeon, Jessica, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona and Seohyun. They are often referred to as SoShi (소시, Hanja: 少時), or SNSD, the first of which is an abbreviation and the second, mainly used outside Korea, is an acronym of the group's Korean name So Nyuh Shi Dae. In China and Taiwan, they are knaown as 少女時代 (Shàonǚ Shídài; or Síunéuih Sìhdoih in Hong Kong) and in Japan as 少女時代 (Shōjo Jidai).

In different languages:
In English: Girls' Generation
In Korean: So Nyuh Shi Dae
In Mandarin: Siew ni Shídài
In Cantonese: Síu néuih Sìh doih
In Japan: Shō jo Ji dai
In Malay: Generasi Gadis

The song has also gained popularity in the Starcraft 2 community, mainly because players in a Starcraft match will usually end a game by saying "gg" (short for "good game"), and the line "Gee gee gee gee, baby baby baby", from the song is essentially seen as "gg gg, baby baby baby".

"Gee" is widely iconic for its use of skinny jeans, which became popular across Asia.

Take note that the CDs from Speedy are mostly printed in China or Malaysia. Don't blame them because the manufacture itself did not include the extras.

Probably because Malaysians are very judgemental. Always got people insult me for liking SNSD one. Like wtf right.

All the Korean boybands are popular because the girls are free to go nuts over them.

If we guys openly exhibit our love for Soshi and we'll get "gay", etc.

But IDGAF lol I brought my album to college today to share with my friends. Girls lah, I don't know any guy apart from those in this forum that like Soshi. doh.gif

You should check again in your nearest Speedy, you can now get the 1st Japan album standard edition for RM45.90

All Speedy has the same "set" retail price, right?

if suju and tvxq r famous in malaysia, snsd shud've got the same share too...somehow i feel dat its the strict dress code regulation and all the religious extremist thats hindering this...no vroom vroom intention btw biggrin.gif

Having said that, I hate Puchong a lot. Most of my friends are from Kuala Lumpur.
Puchong mentality is very kampung kind. Even their views on SNSD are totally different than KL music listeners.

Okay so I ordered a total of RM167 initially and had 167 deducted from my Maybank.

I added an order of RM60 to my existing order later and the total would be RM227.

But I was deducted RM227 instead of the extra 60.

And stupiak Maybank's detail for pre-auth debit only shows up on "Today's Transactions" so now since it's past midnight there is no more transaction there.

Maybe I will be refunded the 167 after YesAsia has confirmed my credit card.

FFFUUU this is stupid.

Small problem. I guess you can just simply call them tomorrow for refund.

For these credit card refunds, it has to depend on how Maybank deal with YesAsia. I think YesAsia will refund it as it is their miscalculation/mistake. The big problem now is how slow Maybank will deal with YesAsia for the refund issue. (as you know how slow Malaysian works)

I forgot to let you know that, when you get your debit card for shopping purposes.. you better put in the money you wanted to spend on it. Create another bank account for your own savings.

Let's say if you want to spend RM300, you have RM350 in your account. After the order, you'll have RM50. Let's say if someone stole my debit card or something, I'll just risk my RM50. Or if the merchant wanted to double charge from my card, it will be automatically rejected. So it's safer in this way.

Take note that if you debit card number has exposed, your money is in danger. Also debit card online purchases don't require signature. Even in physical debit card merchant swipe, the merchant don't really care about the signature authenticity.

These are the thing I didn't remind you when you first get your debit card.

I better repeat this: Small problem, you just need to call both companies to chase them.

The thing is why would Maybank hide details of the pre-authorised debit from me?

Nononononono, they are actually waiting for the merchant details on what to put on your statement.

After 12 midnight, M2U will not display your transactions at all.

As I've been shopping a lot, I have to wait the next day to see that my order is from YesAsia. Also like my order today, it says "PRE-AUTH" from my "Today's Transaction". This is the time they already charged my card and also waiting for the details from YesAsia.

On tomorrow, YesAsia's order detail will be sent to Maybank. Then only Maybank can move your "PRE-AUTH" to your "Debit Card History" and it will show you have order something from YesAsia.

Yes but why would it disappear just like that?

It should show up under the transaction history.

Now I have an extra RM167 gone from my account and with no records about it.

What if after YesAsia approves my card and charges me the 227 but Maybank does not refund my 167? Since I have no records for it, I cannot prove anything.

It's disappear for now as their computer system has turned off. You will see it again later when you login at 6AM.

I would say later after 6AM, you can see you are being double charged. It will show and you can use that to report.

If things don't work out for you, I got a friend who works in Dataran Maybank, maybe he can help you on this.
