I have just bought my ipad in Machines this Monday, and now I noticed that my ipad has bright spots that can only be seen when the screen is displaying white/bright pages. This is a different problem than the 'glue' problem and the light bleeding problem, which seems noticeable when the page is dark. In the net this is often referred to dead spots.
I have 1 dot about 3mm size and it's quite annoying but only in bright pages.. thus especially distracting when browsing in safari..
If I want to replace my unit, will i get a refurbish unit? or a new one? and how long will i get it? considering i just bought it on monday is it possible they will give 1-on-1 replacement on the spot?
Also does it matter where I go for replacement? Machines store which I bought or other Apple Store is also ok?
And last thing, does replacing the iPad will 'surely' solve the problem? what do you recommend me? change the ipad or just deal with the bright dot rather than risking to have a more problematic ipad after replacement?
If anyone has got experience with replacing their iPad please tell me, I would be really grateful.
Thank you very much
