yeap. haven't check those out yet
Dongongon one is called Boeing marketing. bit expensive i would say the place there selling (right opposite CKS main entrance) I've just been to the road along to tuaran today cos i saw it yesterday while coming back from fishing, got 2, it opens on Sundays! - Newtech Furniture (very high and classy furnitures mostly, lots to choose from) - CK Chan Furniture (reasonable price and many to choose from, not much high class but got some too, so, ok for ppl with budget like me) I also been to Likas Furniture (right opposite the Buddhist temple). this is the cheapest so far but the place bit run down.. like tidak kena jaga and lots of dust on the furniture but pricewise is cheapest so far i checked, mid level of availability i'd say Rustica and Hafele opposite Likas Furniture also i think quite classy, so the price will be high Btw, take note CK Chan and Chan Furniture has no connection at all! I've asked the sales lady in CK Chan, is the Chan furniture in Karamunsing theirs also, they replied they are not! At first I thot they were lol Just some points to share bro For me, I personally would recommend you CK Chan Furniture. At the bomba traffic light 4-way junction, turn into the road that leads to tuaran, right after passing the first bridge, 1 minute drive you will see it on your right hand side so u need to make a u-turn Newtech is just bit further, same side right hand, around 5 minutes drive down from CK Chan btw, I'm not sure if you noticed this before or not, along same building as the Rustica Likas, there is a shop named 'EKIA'. I noticed that long time ago. The name HTH Edit : If you're looking for Ikea stuff, can refer this blog as well. The store is said to sell Ikea products Living Concept, 3rd Flr Warisan Concept http://www.1earthadventures.com/2008/01/04...-kota-kinabalu/ This post has been edited by Shoot@M3: Aug 23 2011, 11:35 AM |

I've been to NewTech and CK Chan today.
All I can say is CK Chan's furniture got lots of dust and some furnitures seems losen and so...no air con...so uncomfortable. As for NewTech...furnitures got a lot of variety.price wise still okay. =update= Went to Zolano. Where I browsed few beds area with my family.I'm seeing the mattresses with so many freaking prices. There's a lady seller standing there seeing with a LC face. later, that lady gave out statements really pisses me off,I'll call her B(the bad one) lady. B.lady : Hmm... these beds are for new houses only. me : (in my mind)wtf??! so only super new houses only can have ur beds? I'll just ignore her a while...I thought I misheard or something. Later browsing other furniture stuffs. Then she again... B.lady: These furnitures prices shown are not the actual prices. Its already past the offer period( raya) Just to let you know okay? If you want better book now. (implying that we can't afford to buy the furnitures after the offers ends.and to "SHOOO" us out.) straight away I'm too pissed and go out of the shop. Conclusion: ZOLANO IS A PLACE WHERE THEY HELD SO HIGH THEY LOOK U SO SO DOWN U WANNA BEG FOR THE DAMN DISCOUNT.OH YA I ADMIT I'M FREAKING POOR Went to F3 furniture. Before going to that Z shxt... the sells person was kind enuf to show us their furnitures and explain about discounts. but unfortunately there's less option for types of dining table. anyway there's moderate types of furnitures there that you can browse thru..price wise still okay.Discount more if buy more. Finally yesterday, went to Boon Sin at City Mall 1st floor. Sells person was very professional...answered all our questions and explained patiently bout every type of furniture. Got a deal and booked 1 dining table and looking further to take more furnitures at one go from there the next trip. The sells person was honest enuf to tell us the "not so perfect" areas of the furnitures...but it goes the same for almost all of the furnitures in the market.
