Im using acer timelinex 4820tg, i5-460m, 2gb ram, ati mobility radeon hd 5650. i use a dslr to shoot some 720p video, when i put in sony vegas pro, then i do simple transition (the default one when you overlap videos), the preview will lag like crazy, and i wont be able to see the effect. even though i put preview to the lowest settings possible, it still lags. is this sony vegas pro 10 prob? or isit cuz i only hv 2gb ram then got problem? last time i edit 720p video i remember only little lag, not lag until so serious.

thx in advance! biggrin.gif

I think bcoz ur spec not good enough to run the program. Seems u only got 2GB of RAM n HD5650. If 2GB or RAM then i think only around 1.5GB useable (min 1.5GB useable) bcoz ur graphic will take "max" at 512MB of ur RAM for graphic.
