it's not that hard to create something that protects a phone. yes, fake ones can protect ur phone well. the difference are probably the materials, cutting, texture, colour, paint quality and so on.

guys, let's try to call fake items 'fake' instead of 'OEM' no need to be ashamed about it

- the inner silicone layer dont have a good cut. a bit hard to press volume button (mine at least)
- the inner layer also attracts lint a lot
- the outer layer, for satin silver at least, is glossy (ori is matte)
- if the outer layer got scratched, u can see the real colour which is black. ori one if scratch is white
-the "SGP CASE" font on the fake one doesnt match the "NEO HYBRID"

now im using the fake outer layer + ori inner layer

u can try bodyguardz or wrapsol too. i dont like how the zagg's adhesive tend to seep out. but this on my macbookpro lah i assume it's the same for their phones

using bumper only is thinner ma. plus if u phone fall down, more likely to hit the sides rather than the back

my fake sgp neo hybrid ex finally broke today. no need to say where lah im sure u all know already haha

i bought a lot of stuff from xavinlyn, all original and good n fast service. another is mandyxt but i think she only carries SGP products

well...anti fingerprint of course the annoying thing about matte SP is the rainbow effect. that's the difference between cheap ones and the expensive ones. the rainbow effect on cheap SP is horrible. the more expensive ones are still there, but tolerable

matte SP looks better from the back and when the phone is turned off. crystal can see fingerprints, and i have oily skin

another issue is texture. crystal SP has more friction. say u swipe ur finger to the right, u can feel the texture pulling ur finger skin to the left. matte SP feels smoother, and i prefer that. it's something like glossy photo paper vs normal A4 paper

well one thing is, no apple store in malaysia those are resellers. im inclined to believe they do sell original stuff, since (i assume) they need to take care of their image. but of course there's a possibility it's fake

as s3an_looi mentioned, the quality is probably the same, even better sometimes. the cost to make casing or even SP shouldn't be so high. but u can see both ori and fake stuff selling for high prices. the difference is, ori stuff the profit goes to the case manufacturer. fake stuff, the profit goes to the shop

it's very hard to take a photo of it. maybe possible if someone has a good macro lens.

s3an_looi just wet a finger and rub it on ur phone's screen. u'll get those small beads of water all over. what happens is those small beads act like a magnifying glass, so u can actually see the tiny2 red, blue and green pixels on the screen. that's why it's called the rainbow effect, cuz it looks like rainbow

for matte SP, it's something like this, but the beads are much smaller. for expensive matte ones, the beads are much smaller until it's not that noticeable. of course the 'beads' is not water, just light refracting through the SP material

ah yes yes, damn annoying if it's a white screen.

now that i have helped u, u MUST inform me if u can find a good, cheap one i lost my precious powersupport matte SP lol

i think mine was rm80-rm90, for two front films. didnt have any scratch or bubble or what. the rainbow thing is tolerable (FOR ME).
