It will look the same in Malaysia. Unlike US with AT&T model design and Verizon model design

Lets look at Apple's official website. The cutting of the Bumper fits for both i4 and i4s. Plus, it says that bumper is compatible for both 4s and 4

Lets look at the picture if you dont have one bumper.

Wow!. Looks like the volume button cant move anywhere else with such small outlet...which means the location of button will be ... whistling.gif nobody knows

Partially true.

It actually depends on what model of iPhone 4 your are looking at. 2 models: AT&T and Verizon model.
The Verizon model has its mute button located lower while the AT&T model is what our Malaysian model is having now.

Coming to iPhone 4s, The model has been upgraded with extra antenna thus designers have decided to make iPhone4s to look like Verizon Model (a lower mute button).

All in all, a AT&T iphone 4 case has a chance it might not fit into iPhone 4s. If it can fit, then misalignment will appear. Precision built case is also one of the consideration of fitness.
