QUOTE(Sniperwolf1987 @ Dec 10 2011, 04:54 PM) lifeproof worth to buy? Lifeproof is worth it.any different compare with OEM and ori casing for vapor ? Added on December 10, 2011, 4:55 pm i plan to get 1 for my iphone 4s also .. but, looks bulky ... It is one of the most useful cases out there. Protection and waterproof. Vapor.. Ori and OEM. No difference la. I will always recommend the replica vapor so that iphone users will save HUNDREDS of dollars. Oh forgot to mention I also tried fake Vapor Pro Silver as well. Very nice looking. |

QUOTE(sigheart @ Dec 10 2011, 08:24 PM) Blade no signal issues but its metal buttons will scratch/discolour your iPhone's buttons plus the cut outs are small, you will face problems with third party docks and earphones. Not to mention you can cut yourself with the sharp edges. Pretty poor case apart from its looks. +1 good adviseMy advise, stick to your vapor and throw/give away/sell the Blade. Too many cons just for nice looks IMO. I saw the blade it was like... Meh |

I have tried SGP Ultra Thin.
It widens the phone because of the bulges at the side. And it is extremely glossy and slippery. Many times dropped the phone no matter how hard the grip is. For thin case I suggest Casemate Barely There or Moshi iGlaze.. or Incipio Feather. And seriously? you really wanna pay more for genuine plastic I have tried RM80+ sgp ultra thin... I have also tried RM20 sgp ultra thin... Let's just say I'm going for the cheaper cases from now on. And everyone else should do the same. |

QUOTE(JasonJenn @ Dec 14 2011, 01:14 AM) are u sure? Oh well.. you think u wasted money on fake goods.Mine ultra thin air not ultra thin - it a very recent release and designed specifically for IP4s according to my seller i'm the 1st person to get it here through him here - i ordered 2 weeks ago and it came yesterday via EMS the case i have does not have any obvious bulges at the side and neither does it feel slippery (my personal take on it) anyways the slight bulges were meant to " adds the slightly arched lines to the edges, eliminating the uncomfortable feel holding the device while keeping the flatness of the iPhone 4" - see sgp website I got it because i wanted slim design that protect my iphone 4s from mainly scratches "to each his own" and it came along with a free screen ultra crystal screen protector worth 19.90 usd= RM60 so i feel its value for money it for 2 genuine products btw i purchase genuine product because the company took effort and cost to make it rather than ripping off someone else's design, had work, blood, sweat, tears and spoiling the market to genuine purchasers like me similar to purchasing a fake rolex from petaling street - genuine owners knows a fake when they see one i recall reading somewhere that an iphone its made up USD150 (RM450 - correct me if i'm wrong) worth of parts but it selling at RM2.2k - so "And seriously? you really wanna pay more for genuine" and why not settle for a fake RM500 china iphone imitation instead?? think about it whether its plastic or not its irrelevant - u can choose not to purchase it if u dont feel that its worth it wat matters most is that i'm satisfied with the money i've spent true story:- i remembered once when i bought a product which the seller claim to be an genuine product at 2/3 the price of the original product i thought i got a bargain after comparing with my friend's original product and checked on the net, i realised that the product was high class imitation after knowing the truth, i realised that: i. i totally can't see myself using it anymore; ii. my friends knew i was showing off a fake product and was duped - embarressed ii felt that i just wasted my money; and iii. worse part is that i cant afford to purchase the original anymore coz i've spent most of my allocated budget on a fake goods i hope that u dont cheated like i did however: if u still dont mind buying a fake product make sure you are aware that u buying one rather than thinking its genuine and realising later that you hard earned money was wasted. and also to all sellers out there dont lie to your customers - they will find out sooner or later and when they do, word go out fast especially on forum like this and the internet - you will lose your returning customers, reputation and future customers just be honest and declare that whether your product is genuine or not hope this helps whoever is reading this thread - likely they are thinking of getting a case too Wait till you hear how much I have wasted on 'original goods'. I've tried almost every iteration of original vapors which cost from 400-600 EACH. I've tried almost every iteration of 'original screen protectors' which cost 80-120 EACH. I think I've plunked down at least 2000 on these 'originals'. In the end I settled for replicas. High top notch replicas. How much money you save in the end? Many of us LYN members have tried our hand on these replications. I'd say most of us (including myself) are quite happy and get the bang for our buck. Your logic of getting a china iphone does not make sense. You are not comparing an apple with an apple. There is a huge difference between an iphone 4 that costs almost 3000 which I would gladly hand my cash over compared to a 200+ china imitation. You are getting a totally different thing altogether. The hardware is different. The software is different. You are getting good value for the money you pay for. Not plastic. I'm not paying top dollar for plastic. 'original' is a state of mind. Ppl feel 'happier' knowing they paid for original. Sometimes you end up with the same thing... Sometimes you feel better paying more money... It's all in the mind. EDIT: Anyways I'm quite intrigued about your review on the Ultra Thin Air. Hope you can take some time and post some photos. My experience with their first gen Ultra Thins aren't very good. If they have improved on it I don't mind giving em a shot. Added on December 14, 2011, 2:33 amPerhaps our background is different. My circle of friends kinda feel sorry for those who waste their money on 'genuine' cases... "Your case how much?" "RM150" "Mine same as yours. RM20. Same design. Same material. Same function. Drop also will damage. What is so special about yours?" This post has been edited by hunkofaman: Dec 14 2011, 02:33 AM |

My comments in blue in your quote (easier)
QUOTE(JasonJenn @ Dec 14 2011, 07:44 AM) how can u make an assumption that i wasted my money on a genuine goods when i never felt i did so in the 1st place? Ok la JasonJenn... I didn't. U said u wasted money on fake goods. and I just restated it. RM80 for both genuine 2 Screen Protector and case is worth way lesser than RM200 replicas of vapor that i see being sold on the net Please compare apple to apple. You can't compare worth because both items are different. fake ultra thin is being sold at RM50 at sungai wang - so pay a just bit more u get both authentic sp and case Overpriced.YES I agree with you 100% that just pay a little bit more and get something better. That's what I'll do. Mayb you are not familiar with Vapor cases. These cases cost around 600+ so it is a big difference. the most expensive SGP case is only 125 and u'll get a discount if u buy more if u spend rm200 on a replica vapor - u could rather get 2 genuine SGP products (inclusive a additional screen protector worth RM60) If ppl want a vapor they want a vapor. If u want SGP Ultra Thin I wont suggest another case to you. further i doubt if those replica carry the same quality either see here http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1641809/+188 for sgp case - see here http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1617728&hl=sgp anyway i can sleep peacefully and proudly display my case knowing clearly at the back of mind it authentic don't discount the fact that i did not steal some else's livelihood however do understand that i've stated clearly that if u are know that you are getting fake and you dont mind it - go ahead, its your choice, as long there's full disclosure to the buyer Yeah. As long as we know what we are getting. And I forgot to mention that I 100% agree with you that sellers should not falsely claim items as original. That is the worst thing to do and many have been a victim to claims like this. I know ... I was a victim too. I went through SGP website and saw their Ultra Thin Air. I dont think there is any difference. Maybe some time I will upload some pics of my ultra thins (oris) you have a look see if any difference. After all.. you are the first in Malaysia |
