Birth Certificate Question

Hi, i would llke to know if a couple are NOT Married,
but they intend to have a baby, is it allow the father put his name on the baby's Birth Certificate? anyone have the experience? please advise... thanks in advance! |

as far as i know ... u need to produce the marriage certificate in order to put father's name in the birth certificate

The baby take 9 months to deliver and registration for marriage is no where near that long. If the guy want to be responsible, this is not even a problem!

hi guys, thanks for your reply. but the answer still unclear...
perhaps i should ask this way: if a couple DO NOT WANT TO MARRY, but they want to have a baby. Is Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara allow the father to put his name in their baby's Birth Certificate? |

I think shouldnt be a problem, so many mistress oso having children. But then I'm not sure if the fathers column is left empty.

yes u can .. both must come to register the birth
