i don't trust their skin care.. but that's just me. anyway, though i don't really trust, i made myself to try on their snail cream because it's such a hype in korea. not etude house brand but "SNAILS" alone. so, i have been using it for almost a month now.. hmm.. it doesn't give me the "wow" feeling yet. haha! so, if nothing dramatic happens when i am done using the whole jar, then i won't buy it again.

as for cosmetics.. you get what you paid for. the quality lives up to the price. haha! i don't expect much for such prices but it's good! not of those high quality but not bad either. it's average. i don't like their lip products. lip gloss and lip stick. i don't know.. my lip doesn't like it. haha! but their lip chou is good. this is the only lip product i like from them.

mostly, i buy for its packaging. lol. i bought their chop blusher. so interesting! and cookie blusher is nice too. eye shadows, not bad as well but of course japanese drug store brands are better.. but etude house's eye shadows are the better quality for cheaper alternatives.. i mean if compared to other drug stores brands like silky girl, in2it and etc.. etude house is better.

their petit bijou body lotion too is nice. since now they are having promotion, i will wanna try out their lip patch. lol

I've only tried their liquid eyeliner and I quite like it. Basically cause it's very affordable, hardly RM20 I think and it does serve it's purpose for the money I'm paying.

yup! don't like their bb cream. it's either too grayish or orangy for my skin tone. their lipstick and lip glosses too, i am not too keen.

dark circle away eye cream is not working any better. and i know someone who bought their hands mask and she said she didn't see any result after using it at all.

i am using their snail cream now.. well.. no dramatic effect too. doesn't live up to what it claims.

i've just came across their new aloha line. i'm using aloha sunrise morning pack, it's good! just the moisturizer that i've been looking for. it absorbs very fast into skin. it smells good to me, although some said it smells like hair gel lol.

Their nail polish is pretty good lo at such a price. I love their angled liner brush, pretty cheap as i bought when 40% off. But the gel eye liner is such a huge disappoinment. My first gel liner was maybelline which is very good for its price, one day i forgotten my gel so i bought one at etude house,it looks nice at first, then after a while,i dunno why d gel cracked!! Like harden!! I cap it immediately like how i always do with my maybelline and bobbi brown one,yet still... And d gel became dry and lose it consistency,i dunno why,but there's glitters in d gel!! D glitter pieces r pretty huge and make the gel rough! Worst product bought there.

I bought lip balm before too,the one that smell and colour like peach,in cute panda tin can,the smell is awesome! But it's not really moist enough for a balm. Not very efficient in its function.

Overall i don't find it very good, but i've yet to try other of their products,so i'm still pretty open to try it a few more times.

I use this too. I find it quite good because the colour suits my skin, but my face gets oily pretty fast after staying in an air-conditioned room for quite some time. Is it because of the environment, or it's really a fact that my skin doesn't suit this?

Wanna ask right, did u buy n try shu's eyelash curler,my sis who is a small time make-up artist oso bought it,but she sometimes a bit brand conscious so she might nit be the best person to ask. I wanted to get it too but not sure if the splurge is worth it,when my sis bought it was 50++. i wonder what is the difference?

domofreak: i bought etude house is due to its packaging to be honest because the quality is just average. not long ago they were having RM10 for 3 darling eye shadows right? i bought 6 and i didn't really use it. lol. now i heard that they are having some kind of promotion that nail polish is selling at RM1 as well as the eye shadow for RM1.. the darling range. i think the most expensive stuff i ever bought from etude is their snail cream. but sigh.. it's not as good as it claims. frankly, i don't see any difference. LOL!

lynbaby: shu uemura's eye lash curler has been known as one of the best curler out there. many ppl have raved about it and their curler is selling at RM65 if i am not mistaken. i tend to buy it one day. haha! i think it's still alright for the price because koji's curler (japanese drug store brand) is selling at RM40++ to RM50++. apart from shu's curler, shiseido's curler too has high review. perhaps u wanna check that out too. hehe!

to me, i will not fork out RM50 to get their bb cream because i have no more confident in trying their bb cream ever since i bought their bb pact or something? the one in a jar like a paste. in purple jar. i bought that 3 years ago when they first came in. then until few months ago, they were having carnival sales and if you buy RM180 and above, you will be given a bb cream for free. so, i got one free.. it's the previous bb mineral sheer silky skin. while many ppl complained this is too light for their skin but it matches my skin tone; however, i don't like the grayish undertone to it. it doesn't really have coverage either and of course broke me out. and i have used it not more than 10times and i never use it anymore.

and of course all these are just my personal experience as everyone's different. it's sorta oily too.

My Etude House review:

BB Magic Balm SPF 30 - Very oily for me. Might be suitable if you've dry skin. For oily skin, you must add ample of loose powder.
Collagen Moistfull SPF36 - Dewy look. Not bad. Can really cover some blemish, pimples and pores.
Dream On loose powder - Normal.
Proof 10 Liquid Liner - Not bad. But will crease if your eyelids get oily.
Cupcake Eye Shadow - Very good. Love the bling bling and colors.
Collagen Moistfull emulsion - Very oily after 1 hour apply.
Precious Mineral Essence - Not bad.
Moist balm foundation (transparent container with black cap + brush on top) - This product has been discontinue. Its a matte foundation. Very highly recommended. Very good!
Black long mascara - Normal.

Hope this will help smile.gif

Hello, I have bought Sun BB cream from Etude House and the effect is great, long lasting and looks natural on your face while covers all the flaws. However I still think it is pricey if comparing with other range of BB cream because this one is in smaller bottle.

to bad for u..for me the bb cream works wonder..but for the skincare im not sure..
i used to use their ac clinic range..it does shrink up my pimples but i cannot used it daily as it give me small2 bump like rashes..
maybe the ingredients are too strong and my skin kind of sensitive..
my current skincare im using avene for sensitive skin but i still stick with their bb cream...really love it rclxms.gif

my skin basically 'very high class' wan, fussy like no body business... Korean, taiwanese products sometimes have too much chemicals for my skin.

Etude house, not cheap at all...compared to elianto, their makeup is ok ok oni, but their skincare, ntg fabulous, overpriced, does not deliver results. Go for their makeup when its on sale, but if u are those that worries too much bout ur face, DONT even touch their skincare, too much chemical if u are asking why. Top up 20-30 and go for organics like Simplicite, Burts bees, tns or if u are just a youngster, Sukin is like super duper cheap, less than rm20 for organic cleanser...

I don't really use Etude skincares, but I like their lip balm a lot. Easy to apply and longer lasting than anything I've tried before (I used a lot of Lip Ice before, but they're really dry and sticky >_<) And their scent is really nice heheh. Strawberry (>o<)b

And their liquid liner is good too. Once again, easy to apply.

The snail cream, is it good? I heard really good reviews on it. I've been using Nature Republics product, not bad, not sure about Etude house.

if u asking me i will recommend u to use nature republic skincare rather than etude skincare...coz in my opinion etude is excellent with their cosmetic stuff but not in their skincare
for example their pimples combat range..blemish lab from nature republic is much better than ac clinic from etude(my friend using it) smile.gif

well that just my opinion biggrin.gif

hi girls...
before this i already told that i will post my review here about yogurt mask from etude house...so here it is~~

i've tried their yogurt pack in apple flavor...
really love the cold sensation it gave me but im sure that there are no menthol substance in their ingredient..
it cold down heat on my face and redness around my pimples..other than that nothing no brightening effect,no tightening pore effect, non~

but im pretty impress how my new pimples shrink after i apply the yogurt mask..maybe after applying the mask i rub my face with ice cube..haha..i dunno but hey, its help rclxms.gif

I've tried quite a few products and I would say they are quite good for the price you pay.

BB Cream: For the price, it is really worth it because coverage is not bad and quite long lasting.

CC Cream: Okay as a primer but might be a little too white for darker girls.

Eye primer: Cannot compare to EDPP of course but still does the job.

Cookie Blusher: Love the packaging! Not very long lasting.

Lip tint: Smells nice but come off quite easily compare to other lip tints.

Skin care: The acne series did not help my acne. Kiehl's helped my acne to clear up and until now I seldom have acne.

Their products are only cheap when you buy during their buy 1 free 1 promotion.

I recently brought some Etude House masks from an online shop COSMEGO.com because the price is so cheap!!
I have already used three or four. Very moist, and soothed!

I dislike this brand, I think they only have nice packaging and great designers behind.
used to use their wonder pore freshner, but then now opt for Corine de Farme Micellar water which is better with no alcohol, same price!

Their silk n scarf hair treatment does nothing to my hair, use it everyday still no smooth feeling, but when I use Kiehl's amino acid conditioner, mesti smooth punya biggrin.gif

Their makeup..
I dislike the colour options of their lipsticks, lipgloss, its either too bright or too dark, doesnt blend properly, very drying.

I only like their bling bling eyeshadow stick cause its easy to use and have the colour i like
