QUOTE(xtreme~~ @ Sep 24 2011, 06:36 AM) tenkiu you all for answer fools.then, here come bad part, they bath the dog in the toilet, and some Muslim here RAGE, yell and give threat, then they wash the toilet with sand (i think), the whole toilet they wash until clean clean, fuhhh... and yesterday midnight, they go complain sama ketua blok, and these future teacher come barking at all the chinese (damn i'm not involved in this), say us sombong la, what la (hey man i smile to everyone that would smile back, talk to everyone that would talk back, but some people just hate chinese, what can i do) then my friend kena bawak pi jumpa ketua warden, it's already 1am, cant we wait for tomorrow??? my friend was just trying to save the dog, but end up kena maki hamun just for reference, rage facebook post here https://www.facebook.com/groups/24766240524...294089210605512 my granny keeps a dog to watch over her dusun and paddy field. Kuntum, even carry her bekas sireh while following my Granny around. And during our visits, we play with Kuntum no problem. There ARE soaps which are made of clay, that can be used to wash oneself after touching the dog (well, that sounds funky, but you get what I mean) Just use that lah. Whats the problem? The problem is, Malays and dogs dont mix well. Its in the culture. But if you look at those Balkan Muslims, they have no problems with dogs,. infact they love dogs. Its the culture. I feed stray dogs whenever I see them, and I can see people look at me in disgust, especially because I am a Malay muslim. There is a story, in a Quran, about a very loyal dog, named Qitmir who watched over pious men who went into hiding in a cave from the brutality of the Roman Empire. He watched and guarded them until his last breath. God promised heaven to this courageous dog. And there is a tale, of a prostitute who fed a thirsty dog with water using her shoes. God forgave her sins and she is promised heaven. Also in Islam, if you go hunting, and your hunting dog catches your kill, with his teeth or claws, you can just clean the bit and that kill is halal to eat. These show that dogs, is never a part of the problem in Islam. Those jacket wearing, lying SOBs in the Parliament are the problem, even a bigger one Tell your friend he did a good thing. Ask him to attack back the administration by - ask them to quote any rule inside college's manual book at specifically target dogs. - ask them to quote any quranic verse OR hadis that declared its haram to touch dogs, OR ask them the souce of samak in Quran. You will be surprised of the things that is 'modified' in Islam to suit the Malays better. Knowledge is Power. This post has been edited by snipersnake: Sep 25 2011, 08:30 AM |

QUOTE(xtreme~~ @ Sep 25 2011, 10:36 AM) my advise to all (after studying here for 2 years+), please dont send you child to local school, while there are good ones here, i can say most are lemons. This I agree.edit: ok maybe its a bit exaggerated, but you get what i'm trying to say Thats why I want to send my children to an international school. I find it fascinating interviewing people from international schools, their level of maturity, how they carry themselves. Not to say local schools are bad, but better chances to find good potential candidates from international or private schools rather than a local one. QUOTE(evoHahn @ Sep 29 2011, 08:56 AM) too bad unifi dont have many sports channel. I've had high hopes for MUTV. In the game vs Bolton, i was quite excited to see the pre-match show live, then when kick off time, the screen when blank... only commentary aje... sad. I was owned too. Nothing wrong watching football in the comfort of you own home. But where is the excitement of chatting with random people, munching roti telur, booing the opponent's team. Mamak it is! |

QUOTE(PhoenixByte @ Sep 29 2011, 05:47 PM) out of randomness..i like this megaman-influenced episode of Boboi Boy where they got sucked into a video game I like that episode. IMO, animation in Malaysia has really evolved. And not to forget KRUs Silat Lagenda Kudos to the peeps at the creative industry. Without you guys, we would still be wearing rags for clothes! |
