Is there any disadvantages if i buy from SG origin?

where did you hear about this? Thts pretty bad i think. What if I backed up (like steam backup which origin will implement soon) on my ext hardisk, can i still reinstall it using that? I might reconsider if the 1 year duration thing is real.

I thought even retail pack also needs to be activated on origin. Hence the 1 year inactive account cancelation still holds?

What if i log in my origin account but not playing the games inside that i have bought? Will ea delete my games too?

I just dont get it. If they stop my eligibility to download from origin but my CDkey is still working, then i think im alright with it. Coz its kinda easy to borrow the retail dvd from a friend and activate it using my cdkey which i got it earlier from Origin.
If Origin deactivates my Cdkey after 1 year of inactive....then EA is a d1ckhe3d.

88bucks from ebgames. about RM270 ringgit...almost can buy 2 BF3 from TSB. Aus has the most overpriced games in the world. I think im gonna buy it from Origin SG which is only 65$SGD...which is still acceptable for me.

Play Asia only has the normal bf3...not the LE. So u cant download Back to Karkand for free. Origin SG price is fair i think.
