Added on August 2, 2011, 4:50 amoh and social networks should also have an anonymous button where you can go and chat with fellow anon's randomly in a forum style page. I guess chatting with "strangers" in a social network in kinda on demand thingy now? Perhaps a social network should have a virtual name (screen name) beside of real name (which you have the freedom to display or not)?  |

simple ui. like g+. and please, no customization of your profilepage/wall/whatever. this is why friendster is dead.
allow interactive commenting/sharing system. like, allow pictures in comments. extensive media support for sharing (gif, voice/sounds only, videos, pictures (unaltered. its ok to downscale pics for thumbnails but dont temper with the original pictures))
have an alternate, optimized interface for mobile devices. easy mobile sharing.
NO EXCESSIVE CENSORSHIP AND MODERATION. f*** fb. i hate it how those moderating staff can ban accounts whenever they feel like it. i hate how they stop me from sharing a vid because they deemed them spammy. i hate how they stop me from adding friends because my behaviour was botlike. i hate how i have to wait another oh-how-many-hours before i could change my name.
