Did you try recalibrating?

Go to settings, Display, G-Sensor Calibration. Leave your phone flat on a level surface (table) screen up press calibrate and wait for it to finish calibrating, should be fine, after that.
Revert back?, was anyone else in XDA reporting that issue?

Oh, one more thing, smoothness still awesome like previous versions of Lee?, I find that ARHD on certain widgets still feel some lag, especially HTC Calender and Weather Widget, and I still get the occasional Black Screens  , never had that on Leedroid.
