HTC is doing very hard in MY market to compete for the top Andoird, no doubt S2 spec is so much better than Sensation.

HTC is better in terms of branding and GPS locking time, and well personally design... after usage for a month notice the sad part is the Batt hope that Battery companies will come out a new Batt pack , so HTC can introduce to current and up coming models.

In SG S2 is much more expensive by 50-100 SGD, while in MY HTC is price higher by RM 200 ->Ori huh

One dumb question..how to fix papago unsupported resolution?
*
1. Make sure NaviSea folder is at main directory
2. Rename the following folder to 540X960
X:\NaviSea\Organic\400X854
X:\NaviSea\Organic\CHT\400X854
X:\NaviSea\Organic\CN\400X854
X:\NaviSea\Organic\IND\400X854
X:\NaviSea\Organic\MY\400X854
3. Download Spare Part from Market
4. Go to Compability Mode Turn off then on
5. Restart Phone
5. Go to Compability Mode again Turn Off
6. restart Phone
7. Run papago !

You notice the menu bar is abit weird but will get a full screen as X5 android is made max to support 400X854 you are forcing it to operate at 540X960

I use PAPAGO because of the map support given by MFM
Map updates & POI is slow on Sygic

Hi Everyone,

I'm new on smartphones and planning to get one. I'd read as much as I could on the pages but not all (95 pages in this thread so far!)

I like to ask 2 things...

1) I'd read alot about htcsense.com not working or working on and off. How is the situation at the moment? Is it better now i.e. the functions as advertised by htc previously?

2) As for the Locations software and maps, does it work well with the phone compass? Does it have well-stocked maps on Malaysia and neighbouring countries (like those on AirAsia destinations)?

Sorry if these questions has been asked before.. and thank you in advance for your reply!  laugh.gif

1) Have not use it so can't comment much

2) Location software & Maps is very similiar to google map , so when you travel you'll need to use local data packages else you'll suffer crazy amount of bill cause it will download local map info, another software is known as Navigator you need to pay for the maps of other country.

I would recommend to use Syngic for nice user interface , and Papago X5 for most updated map with POI on MY, SG & TH from MFM. -> a small price to pay for these navigator

Actually I prefer Garmin the most but not available for Android , used Garmin to navigate in Bangkok on my N97 with local data plan (for AGPS) it is so much better compare to Ovi Maps (Nokia)
