Besides, as far as my personal experience shows when it comes to phones, problems that require you to utilize your warranty USUALLY shows up early, eg, in the first month you got your phone, or even right after you open the box and turn it on, creaking noises la, back cover not fitting properly, wont boot etc.

Breaking your screen/phone due to drops are not covered!, even accidental drops.

therefore, I shall reiterate that Official S-On is pure BS!

I noticed the battery life barely last a day even without heavy usage. Is there anyway to prolong the life?

And curiously.. what are you guys going on about leedroid and arhd and s-on/off o.O

ive been playing game dev story and i have to charge 2-3 times a day..so darn addictive

the screen size and resolution is the main culprit. i never had my battery last over 24 hours during stock rom. the solution for that is that i got myself a power bank, disable auto sync (to run on manual sync), lower down screen brightness (mine set at 40%)

s-off is the gateway to root. after root then to flash with custom rom's (leedroid / arhd etc) for better performance / customisation

tell us more in details, as in what had your performed and installation is aborted at which stage?

well by following the guide in step 3 when installing the zip file it says error and installation aborted

but the problem solved i check with root checker and my device is rooted~
btw what is busybox?

EDIT: if i'm gonna use leedroid do i need to flash the LeeDrOiD Pyramid Kernel V1.3 - 2.6.35.14 too? sorry for noob question~

Got that as well but after a reboot , u can see the superuser app in your hp

Recently I faced the touch issue where as some of the touch function not working.
For example, on the first desktop, I can't press those message widget icon or whatsapp. However I can move the desktop left right and move the widget. Just can't select those icons. Can call up notification, setting, add widget... The issue lady like 3~ 5 minutes. Then everything beach to normal.

Flash leedroid rom v.1.1, follow by leedroid rom v.1.2. the kernel v.1.3 is included in the rom itself. flash kernel v.1.4 then you're ready to play around with it.

bro, are you on stock rom or custom rom? if you're on stock rom, try reboot and see if it solve the problem. so far i dont see any member here reported the same issue like you. the common screen problem is irresponsive touch screen

need some advice from fellow forumers. i plan to get a sensation soon but i'm not sure whether to get it under maxis or digi as this will be my second phone. i'm currently on the digi broadband plan for my home computer.

mine with lite usage can last a day+juice defender
yesterday unplug from 7am-10pm stil got 40%, 3hours++ listen music, 9-10sms, 4-5min talking

after root my phone, i use setcpu to underclock when screen off, but i dont know if its really got effect or not, anybody can confirm this?

the code clash wit mine bcoz mine already got d transparent function...
so those who using mine cant use theirs...
