guys i have a question lets say i say s-off officially from htc website would i be able to flash custom roms?
*
Once s-off then you can have root access and flash custom rom. Think twice if you want to s-off officially cos that will void your warranty. If you wants to flash custom rom,you may want to s-off unofficially. At least you can revert to stock Rom for warranty purpose.

*
been using it since first day it is released. no problem so far. no reboot no issue, stable and clean. just flashed unity v.9 kernel 5 mins ago and running on stock 1512mhz, shall test and monitor how it performs. couldnt wait for lee to release his custom kernel as he is tied up with works and other issues tongue.gif

Played around with leedroid v.2.4 matching unity v.9 kernel for about 90 mins, cpu setting couldnt stick at 1512mhz for long and revert back to 1188mhz. phone gets a lil warm when running at 1512mhz thou. not an issue as i can live with 1188mhz clock speed. improved smoothness and interaction / navigation, scores higher in both antutu and cf benchmark as compare to stock kernel.

Any of leedroid v.3.0 user experiencing longer HTC splash screen n laggy / slower boot animation? I let the Rom settle after two hours and fix permission, reboot and it seems slightly improve the boot up time.

Overclock seems sticking after few benchmarks and restart. Snappy n smooth, epic leedroid release. Hehe

Still downloading, will let you know a.s.a. I install the ROM.

Btw, what are you using to manage OC?, is there an application included in the ROM like Daemon Controller in ARHD?
*
you got to control the cpu clock speed by setcpu or cpu master. i am using cpu master. still monitoring the overclocking cos at times, it will revert back to stock setting.

Can anyone advise me if doing root will wipe off my data?

Im gonna start do it this weekend, probably leedroid as most comment said will improve performance and battery life

quite nervous as i afraid something goes wrong or stuck halfway ...
*
flashing custom rom will wipe off your system data where your data stores in SD Card is remain.

read thru the guides and know what you're doing, then you wont brick your phone. happy rooting mate =)

Revert back?, was anyone else in XDA reporting that issue?

Oh, one more thing, smoothness still awesome like previous versions of Lee?, I find that ARHD on certain widgets still feel some lag, especially HTC Calender and Weather Widget, and I still get the occasional Black Screens  cry.gif, never had that on Leedroid.
*
yes, it is reported issue for overclocking speed doesnt stick at xda.

smoothness and stability is awesome! no lag no issue. that is why i stick to leedroid rclxms.gif

i once tried arhd, got black screen and reboot within that 2 days and reverted back to leedroid. just hate the life with battery pull whenever those issues arise.

Thanks for advise smile.gif

Just some questions;-
1)  i need to s-off(root) my phone before i can flash custom rom. So once i flash, do i need to s-on(unroot) my phone back?

2) Once i flash custom room, all data will be gone. Im currently use htc sync to backup my contact to PC. For application wise i can use titanium as suggested provided my phone is rooted. what about my messages/calender ?
3) after i successfully flash custom rom, if i wanna flash different rom do i need to go through the whole steps again?
Now doing some research and preparation before i start to root my phone tomorrow

hopefully all goes well biggrin.gif

THanks
*
1. nope. you need to s-off in order to flash custom rom(s). you only unroot and revert to stock rom for warranty purpose

2. you may sync calender to your google account. sms backup you can try the application - backup to gmail (or some other sms backup application)

3. you flash rom(s) via recovery, so you dont have to repeat s-off and root your phone everytime you change rom.

such an high capacity wouldn't harm the phone or the battery itself? i knew that theres output limit but..as the powerbank could be use for laptop charging..so, i wondering whether the output limit will be  too high for phone or not..=]
*
as long as the output is not greater than 1A then it is suitable for charging the Sensation.
