dude, what is the problem actually? i didnt s-off yet..so need to know rough idea on what is happening now..

NEW ALPHAREV clockwork Recovery 4.1.0.4- Charging WORKING IN RECOVERY.

charging working in recovery? coz i heard from ppl saying that they cannot charge when the phone is off or battery become empty
*
The problem last time for me was first, when ur phone is plugged in and u off it with fast boot off, it wont turn on and you need to reinsert battery. Second, while phone is off, and its plugged in to usb/ac, the phone wont start. So everytime to avoid this i had to make sure the cable is unplugged before i off or on. Some people experienced that their phone won't charge while its off, I thought mine has that as well but my phone WAS charging, just that the LED doesnt light up like usual. But your phone is not bricked, just need to reinsert battery and can turn on already lor.

But no worries!, its all fixed!!, i tried it just now. And do please install the Advance Power Menu, very useful thing IMHO.

so no superwipe? coz the arhd 1.1.4 said obligatory if coming from stock or other custom ROM..obligatory means must rite? sorry if what i mean is wrong lolx
*
if you are from stock rom, then yes, wipe it clean!

don't worry, its like formatting a computer, 1st time you sweat alot, subsequent times no problem!, and you'll realise you're better off with less useless apps anyway. Most important is contact list, media, pictures etc (for me at least), the rest i can always redownload.

wiping doesnt completely format your sdcard, me media, music etc always remains...i think the wiping only wipe phone internal storage and thats it.

yes, u put the zip file into sd card then hboot will detect it and ask u if u wanna upgrade

remember to delete it after u are done coz it will make u unable to use other hboot options if it is still in your sd card

Added on August 3, 2011, 2:03 pmguys, there seems to be a problem with 1.1.4

camera will show moving horizontal lines (like old tv channel) in camera mode and will remain in the photos you take

was on 1.1.2 yesterday and camera has no such problem
I suggest waiting for 1.1.5 to be out, where they include a new kernel which should fix that problem
*
No problems with my camera here. I did wipe first before flashing though.

Added on August 3, 2011, 2:17 pmazel, did u do superCID? based on what i read, superCID is needed only when u wanna install stock rom from different area and get back s-on..is it true?
*
i didnt do that, will worry about it ONLY when i need to send phone for warranty claim etc. lols.

Edit: releases are fine and all, but if 1 day 1 new version is a little tiring ugh, lols

Wipe you phone before flashing, mine is smooth like silk, and the battery life really got improve, i unplugged at 1pm for lunch, went online for 30minutes, download from market, with my 3g, gps, wifi on, then 2pm meeting on standby till just now, battery only drop 3 %, and i dun have juice defender and my networks are all on and synching.

do u calibrate battery or anything? hmm..i feel that early stages when u just flashed arhd u feel laggy during ur 1st time use..coz market is downloading alot of apps and stuff..after that ok dy..everything jz nice and charging battery now..
*
I calibrate the second day i got my phone, full charge, wipe battery stats, then full drain....but stock settings, with everything on, still kills my battery even on standby. I don't really like juice defender because apps like Whatsapp become non-functional when standby as data is cut off >_< when you sleep.

FYI, I aint no regular seller, so dun get started on "oh this should be in garage sales la what la"

On another topic, downloading ARHD 1.1.5 now, If there's a new version tomorrow and unless there is any drastic changes imma wait on flashing, malas already, lol.

how much u willing to let go?

On second thought I'm going to keep it, coz switching it out is really easy!

sorry ah bro tongue.gif

On another note, the tough case was great but i noticed it was hard for the camera section of the silicone to fit perfectly into the outer plastic shell, had to huff and puff, good thing the hard outer shell doesnt change shape or bend or break easily.

no la..i read thru the forum some ppl overclock to

wake min : 1188000
wake max : 1728000 ( advice not to go over or you'll have to flash the ROM again.

sleep min : 192000 ( the minimum )
sleep max : 384000

wake : on demand
sleep : conservative

want to try it ? biggrin.gif

EDIT : i tried on my phone..its okay! =D become faster and more responsive =)
*
lol if the phone doesnt go into full sleep ur gonna burn your battery like no tomorrow. I suggest wake min you keep at original 384mhz la, because sometimes you forgot to manual off screen, and you set timeout for 1 minute you cpu gonna run at 1188 mhz while not doing anything.
