Guys, faced 2 times of this problem.

Happened when I switch from Mobile data to Wifi, although it was connected. But the wifi signal above the bar there is showing gray color of wifi signal. (Normally we can see White color if full and decrease if weaker signal.)

However it went normal only if I restart the phone.
Power off and turn it on back won't do the trick :\

My router is using WPA/WPA2 PSK btw...

You have not set the wifi sleep policy, after the screen timeout the wifi gets disconnect. Go to wifi settings, and check advance settings- and modify the wifi sleep policy to "never". Regarding the grey part- if you are not connected to google services the bars will turn to white- thats the feature of Android

Erm, mine is "never" in the sleep policy.

The wifi is showing connected, but no connectivity will flow in or out.

If you do the death grip thing, the worst and least connectivity you can have white is the round thing below.
Mine is totally nothing, lol ...

Brief update on LeedRoid ROM:
Pros:
Improved battery life, smoother interface while starting and exit application, sense hardly crash and restart, % on battery icon

Cons:
Laggy when updating / installing application from market, mail widget take longer time to access to mail application

LeeDroid is currently working on a patch as current version is beta release. Happy flashing mates! =)

This is all in my quest for a better battery life without sacrificing power, lol

Nice, the overclock works properly now, and I can edit the frequencies via Daemon Controller, and the settings persist after a reboot!

s-off unofficially means got ppl hack into sensation n take d code to modify such as the kernal...
dis is dangerous bcoz they might miss some codes especially for sense 3 functionality

s-off officially means they will unlock the boot loader so let ppl explore all d codes so u can customize urself....

if now u s-off ur hp got problem or screw ur hp n cannot revert bck u go service centre, ur warranty will void... thts do at ur own risk...
50-50 percent of chance...

s-off officially also do at ur own risk but at least got 90% chance to revert or recover bck....

simply explain = both got risk but unofficial more risky den official

"no pain, no gain"

ahh I love these sayings =P

Edit: The battery auto-calibrate works too, i use battery monitor widget, showed at 100%, after update showed at 98% for same voltage as the earlier 100%

thanks for the clarifications.

whoever root their phone knows the risk and clear that rooting will void warranty. there is one question to htc, if they unlock the bootloader (official s-off), so end user is granted with root access. what if the user screw the coding and brick the phone, will it be still cover under warranty?

User screw coding and brick phone = user error/mistake = usually not covered = my simple logic =P

So do it right the first time! biggrin.gif

FROM SGS2 THREAD
Q: Does flashing affect the warranty of my device?
A: Yes, flashing an unofficial rom will void warranty. But as long as your device can be unrooted and be reflashed again to stock original rom you can than send in for warranty claims.

=> so i guess if official warranty still cover... again i not sure need to email to htc..

Correct. that is why i wonder after htc unlock the bootloader, how are they going to control / verify those unit which is valid for warranty.

in my humble opinion, no worries about official or unofficial s-off.. as long as you're 100% clear with that you're doing and be RESPONSIBLE for what you did then it is alright. Read and understand before any action cos none of us wanna brick our lovely toy! =)
