Mi350 AKA Lenovo A60, Viewsonic V350, Mutchel A2 are the same phone & this phone has been exploited long time ago ! blush.gif

You guys should try banjo0719 Cyanogen ICS Themed ROM

Download the recovery & Mobileuncle tools here

Steps to Install
1. Install mobileuncle apk
2. Flash recovery.img
3. Reboot to recovery & install Yonip 5.2
4. Setup Google Play
5. Install Yonip 5.1 Market fix

And you'll have a fully functional Lenovo A60 ICS Theme on your Mi350 ! rclxms.gif

I have even ported it to Mi357 & it is working great with 1.5GB Internal Storage (hacks included with this ROM to use your SdCard as Internal Storage. With this you can install unlimited apps without the constantly annoying popup of low storage problem)

Its quite simple to install as all tools have been develop nowaday compare to those at Eclair & Froyo era. If there is anything you don't understand, you can follow the forum thread there loh... tongue.gif Everything is explained there... rclxms.gif

hehe, i actually use mi357 one leh... tongue.gif (mention on previous post)

Ok, first i must get 2 things clear, have you rooted your mi350 ? if not, then follow previous post on the steps to take...2nd thing is, have you install CWM recovery if not then download it...

If you have already install CWM recovery, you shouldn't be getting this ' Signature Verification error ', as mention to you on xda, try 'toggle signature verification...

user posted image

Steps to install
1. Download CWM V5.0.2.8 - CWM_Recovery_A60_EXT2.zip
2. Extract and Copy Recovery.img into the root of your SDCard
3. download and Install M44tools. (If you see the ‘install blocked’ notification, tap settings/check unknown sources.)
4. Open “MobileUncle tools/m44tools”,tap “flash recovery from sd card”
5. Now you will see “recovery.img”,tap on it then confirm.
6. Grant MobileUncle Tools root permisions if you are asked.
7. Now you have a custom recovery (you can either tap Reboot to Recovery from MobileUncle Tools menu or just turn the phone off and on again while pressing Volume up(+) key).

Flashing using CWM recovery
(Before doing that, make a backup first -> backup & restore)
1. Copy xxXXxx.zip(update/software/rom) into the root of your sd card.
2. To go to recovery, you can either tap Reboot to Recovery from MobileUncle Tools menu or just turn the phone off and on again while pressing Volume up(+) key.
3. Wipe all/factory reset. (use volume keys +/- to select and camera or menu button to confirm)
4. Select “install zip from sd card”.
5. Then select "choose zip from sdcard"
6. Choose file.zip
7. Reboot system when done.
-First boot will take some time.

Above steps taken from A60...Let me know how it goes... drool.gif

I'm afraid its not that simple... tongue.gif Each ROM has its unique structure & you need to know which file to replace in order for it to boot succesfully... so i guess u can't use A60/ Spice Mi350 to update your CSL Mi350... blush.gif However, firmware from Viewsonic & Muchtel should be compatible...saw someone on this thread did update successfully to viewsonic but wants to downgrade back to CSL Mi350 stock rom... tongue.gif

Are you using this latest 4027_4_39F_R_MOD_V1_1b firmware...Are you using viewsonic bootloader... ( use translator )

For your case, i suggest you do a pc download via SUTLR v1.8.2 as stated in this post at #116... ( use translator )

As mention on my other post thread, my ex-boss use to say "RTFM" when i tell him this is not possible/ that cannot work... tongue.gif

As for the ported CWM, it only flash *.zip & not *.nb0 file so i guess you have to find viewsonic update file with *.zip to update it...

Good Luck & Happy Modding... rclxms.gif

You can also follow general guide here & here... it uses the same CPU & they have custom rom...

So i don't see why it doesn't work on ur mi350... biggrin.gif
