I checked mine just now, I got that. Snowfish, dont worry ur SA very good. smile.gif

I got my inspira. =)
Yesterday drive it around, very nice.
But today morning after raining i drive out I heard behind the car have sound like "shhhhh" when moving. What sound is that? anyone heard this?
I think it is not tyres sound right?

How to test the nyek nyek sound??
hehe..

How u all TT yesterday? the special liquid is it nice? biggrin.gif
*
Yeah so far he's been giving me top notch service. Today is actually his off-day (according to his boss) cuz he's busy moving house before raya, but he agreed to come and meet me later this evening....If too late he say he'll belanja me dinner while he buka sahur laugh.gif .

"SShhh.."- wave like sound? My wira kena liddat before last time, my shaft masuk air cuz the rubber joint crack already. but urs is new car shouldnt be this problem...maybe try again tomorrow and see if it exist......

Ngek ngek sound usually happens when u turn corner, before, during and after u go over a bump and also when u brake.... mine so far ok on this aspect.

I went and test the my clarion radio by driving into downtown penang, yep im not spared from the soft loud soft loud issue....but still tolerable for me la...

My phone is quite tightly intergrated with the HU now via VLingo...problem is....when i try to voice call somebody, it always end up calling the wrong person doh.gif . Need to watch house more first.

thumbup.gif  So far here I think your SA is the best, help you a lot. But this consider as service, that's why people will happy to buy with him. Worth to buy with him.

Just now I try to push the rpm to 5k, I feel really good in power now.  laugh.gif
I think 2.0P will be more and more powerful!!
I have try drive fast, and driver over hump, no sound I found. lucky lucky. haha..
The radio soft loud problem also dont have. But how to test the radio soft loud problem?

Just I tried answer call with radio, BT radio. Btw when i paired, the incoming will auto answer?
Voice call not so accurate i think. When i use voice call also same like you always calling the wrong person.  blink.gif
thank thank. biggrin.gif "sshhh" sound only heard when driving on the road that wet after raining or raining time.
so thats normal.  tongue.gif
you also first batch buyer. wow~~
*
Test soft loud soft loud ar...first on ur radio loud loud (make sure its on tuner)....then find a place where got a lot of tall town building/tower...and voila...soft loud soft loud effect, exclusive only for inspira-ians rclxms.gif .

anyway, the BT radio, i dont think it will auto answer, at least not on my phone. i think the auto answer one depends on ur phone settings. anyway i tried, even my GPS voice on my phone comes out thru the speaker....

The problem is, If im using GPS navi and someone call me, my gps navi auto close doh.gif

now praying time izzit? I try call him but no pick up.

get the highest rating one..either get the best or dont bother getting it at all. most of the time when your battery is flat, u'll need quite alot of power from the other battery.

ours 2.0 litre engine ya... smile.gif
*
Mine is 1.8 one...In that case I guess I'll get that 600A cables from ACE. RM25.90, the price is ok right?

I settled with my SA, he say he'll check with the SC here on monday, worst case scenario is he'll borne the replacement part cost for the damper.

Mmmm...anyone got their sahabat eon card? My SA told me now everything is online and paperless, no more physical card liao. Basically the Eon card = AAM card?

Ooo...btw what is the normal tyre pressure u guys pump? I see that its 220/220 , but even for my Wira I usually pump 240/230....

somtimes it is like that..no explaination..haha...however, if new battery cannot tahan, then must always think about the alternator's condition.

last time my waja's alternator kong and i didnt know, battery 10 months also kaput..luckily can get the warranty and changed my alternator...2 years later still going strong.

Added on August 6, 2011, 9:31 pm

i just emailed I(dont)Care, to confirm if the replacement parts are ready or not.
*
I think its better you call, I emailed them a few times prior to getting the Inspira, they never replied back.

Ohh, this is new. I saw the review of Smart Fortwo by Top Gear, and it's basically not that good at handling.
*
You can't really trust Top gear's reviews to be honest. They are more towards entertaining, and even more obviously, bias. Thats why they are fun to watch. IF you want serious reviews, watch fifth gear instead.

Errr...just wondering. I read the CBT column on the Inspira today. Can the cigarette lighter be used as a USB port ?
*
You just need to get those car charger/usb adapter. The voltage that comes out of the cig lighter is the same, which is 5V.

Proton only have themselves to blame for the initial bad production quality in their earlier cars.....but while they have improved by leaps and bounds (at least we can now confidently use our power window without it failing miserably stuck), its hard to shed off the bad reputation it gained earlier, especially among the older generations.

It is still a rule of a thumb that no matter what car you buy, you need to research, test it and weigh the pro and cons.

Can't agree more with SnowFish. It not that I want to bash T&H I speak the truth what they don't have and what Inspira has. The only thing Inspira dun have is the reliability.
*
What Inspira doesn't have is not reliability actually, what it doesn't have is good appropriate after sales service from its company.

As a car i think its pretty good and reliable, but when it comes to sending it for problem rectification.... rclxub.gif can count stars as sheep liao

My SC abit different den >< coz they actually let me know what are the problems of current inspira and gave me one of the best service. They even send someone from Proton to ask us for feed back after my 1000 mileage service. Asking us how was the service, is there any problem with ur car?? They follow up, so I'm happy with their service. To me la is the reliability of the brand only. Is Proton Reliable? Inspira is still consider a Lancer so not 100% Proton hard to say when you purchase other Proton Manufactured car.
*
Let's see if i get treated the same after i get my first service. My SC called me too to ask me about the car (I haven't even decide which SC to send to!) after 2-3 days of getting my car? I did tell them about the noise insulation problem that we have with the road noise, and they say they'll do something about (seem like they already got a solution in place). They told me if its bothering me very much i can come make appointment and come asap, other wise can go do it one shot during the first service). Asked me a lot of things about SA's way of handling the sales etc.

If this happened due to a change in service policy in Proton, I hope they keep it up. This should be the way, after all no matter what car, a car purchase isn't cheap.

Definitely getting the 2.0 only, just wanted to test drive it first as it's for my dad, and they only have the 1.8 for test drive back in my hometown as well.

If all goes well. Haha smile.gif
*
Just test drive the 1.8 first if 2.0 is unavailable. if ur happy with the 1.8, u'll definitely be ok with the 2.0 smile.gif

Quick question for those who opted for the 5-year free service during the July's promotion.
1) Do we get some kind of voucher or is it all computerised in such a way we can go to any authorised service center?
2) If we bought it from EON, we can send to Proton Edar for the free service too right and vice-versa?
*
1. Its all computerized. You will get the e-voucher serial number by post. All you need to do is to bring ur service book when u go service ur car.
2. Yah you can still send to edar, but i rather go back to eon...

Adding 1 more thing here,
3. Sahabat eon card is also computerized online liao. Just quote ur member no/car number when u call.
