hey guys, I'm actually thinking about jumping on board here as well... would like feedback from you guys about this phone:
1. I'm a heavy internet user, which is why I'm so interested in this phone because I heard the browser is UBER fast and plays 720p flash videos like nobody's business - is that true? it doesn't lag even one bit when dealing with flash in the browser?
2. how is the multitasking being handled? This is important to me as I'm always dealing with the phone and being able to jump from one task to another swiftly is a must for me.
3. Just for comments sake, mind saying what you absolutely HATE About the phone? like something that might be bugging you and there's just nothing you can do about it and stuff like that? thanks
Just sharing my own experience:
1) I watch Full HD 1080p videos, movies, etc...smooth. No lag.
2) No issue with multitasking. SGS2 has "real" multitasking compared to iPhone "perceived" multitasking.
3a) When I play HD games like Air Attack HD for 30 minutes or more, i feel the phone gets hot. Some users said ugrading to newer firmware can reduce this "hot" feeling...I have not tried upgrading firmware yet.
3b) It's too thin, less than 9mm thick. You might misplace it.
3c) It's too fast...you have to read faster or tap the screen faster. It doesn't wait for you.
3d) It's too cool to be seen holding one. You might get too much attention (maybe from opposite sex).
3e) It can play all kinds of video format...you will get addicted.
3f) The video recording is too sharp...full 1080p is too realistic...
3g) The screen is too beautiful to behold...other phone users will hate you.
3h) It has too many customisation options..you will become too stressed on what widgets to use, which launchers to use...ie Go Launcher EX, ADW launcher, SPB 3D shell, Launcher Pro..etc....everyday you feel like you are holding a new phone.
3i) Too many stock and custom Roms to flash...you will become a Flasher...
Okay..okay....Items 3(b) to 3(i) are just kidding....don't believe me...
