i bought the 6600mah, but it doesn't work like full charge cycle x 4...
in fact, it only last for 1.5x to 2x cycle... sad.gif
not sure it is norm or not  sad.gif

Simple explanation would be that energy transfer isn't 100% efficient.

i dont want to try any rom with user showing their graph with their data set to OFF and not using their phone. It's totally meaningless.
If you want to boast on how good or bad a rom is go post SS with data on and background data sync on.

I myself prefer a screenshot with the screen on time. With ninphetamine and juicedefender, I can go 4+ hours at 100% battery level. Doesn't really mean a thing if you ask me. The rock in my pocket also has as much battery charge 24 hours after I put it in there compared to when I picked it up from the roadside.

anyone tried CriskeloRom-v7.1?..i think Noobi used it...any comment?..from litening rom, i can just jump to CriskeloRom-v7.1 without recover back to original rom right?.. (i did make backup using CWM)..coz i saw a few post back last time, better to go stock back before flash another ROM
*
I'm pretty sure this isn't true. You don't have to go back to stock ROM. Its recommended (some ROMs claim its not required, then you see lots of people complaining about problems after they flash without wiping, so if you ask me, ALWAYS wipe) that you do a full wipe anyway so going back to stock ROM really doesn't do anything.

just finish download CriskeloRomGSGII.v7.zip..but not sure how to flash using odin as it's not TAR file..unzip, and saw a lot of files inside..

Its probably a clockwork mod installation if that's the case.

a mini poll/ Q...

how do you normally wake up your phone? use the power button? use the home button?

reason i'm asking is coz the home button seems flimsy (imho). if i plan to use the phone for 5yrs, dunno if that button can last that long.

i used to wake up my sgs2 using the home button but lately, started getting into the habit of pressing the power button instead.
*
This really depends on the position of the phone. If it's lying on my table/bed, I'll just hit the home button since its the most convenient button presented to me. If I'm holding it in one hand, then its far easier to hit the power button to turn on the screen.

Actually, does this Samsung Dive really works?...
Let's say my phone is stolen.

1) The guy switched off the phone. Take out the sim card.

2) Go home, sit down in front of his computer. Switch the PC on.

3) Go to get a cup of coffee.

4) Switch phone on without data enabled, off GPS.  Plug in to USB port to copy all your important data and photos into his PC.

5) Then use 3 button combo to go into Download mode.

6) Flash a new Stock ROM. Factory reset and wipe data.

7) Put in new Sim card and use the phone. Log in with new Google account.
Now, will Samsung Dive still be able to detect this phone....I doubt so, right?

Your IMEI should still be the same right?

is it normal that every big picture i crop to be my wallpaper became pixelated? because it does for me...
*
I've tried cropping a huge wallpaper (3000+x2000+) to use as my background, as well as a 1350×1213 picture. Surprisingly, the smaller picture was a lot sharper than the big one. I think the algorithm Samsung uses to shrink down huge pictures is problematic.

did i mention any crack apps? pls dun lansi i know u r moderator n so what? i think u r very rude in sending me a pm with just the word "you are being warned".  pls learn ur manners before take any further action

You asked about installous, which a quick google tells me is an app to enable piracy on the iPhone. Coupled with Uncle Benny's post, I don't see why hye's warning is "rude". What? Face too thin and don't like being scolded?

if back up old rom
where is the rom it ?

If you did a backup, it'll be on your storage, under the folder clockworkmod\backup. Navigate there in CWM and load the file.
