Received SMS from Samsung and stated that my Sgs2 E-warranty effective from 27.07.2011 to 26.07.2012 and 30.07.2011 to 29.07.2012.

QUOTE(xsaintzx @ Aug 4 2011, 12:12 PM) Sorry for bringing up this camera pink spot problem again, as I see it is not being discussed anymore, I think the problem My pink spot is similar to Lineage. Never border coz no definite solution yet. However, i will google from time to time to see whether any updates on the pink spot issue.is either been solved or people just get used to it and moved on. Before posting I have read all the posts in XDA and also first page. I can't make sure this is software/hardware issue, I bought my phone yesterday, I tried 3 phones there and all the camera have the pink spot issue. I try adjusting white balance/ISO etc, doesn't solve the problem. So I bring back my phone, I think a firmware upgrade might solve the problem but it didn't. The point is that I want to ask fellow SGS2 users whether you guys are having this problem all the time and live with it, or only a handful of SGS2 are having this problem and some others don't have. I will be happy to live with it if everyone has it, but it really bothers me if I'm like 1 of 20% of people who get the faulty phone. Since Litening KG6 camera firmware didn't solve the problem yet, now I want to try using different camera firmware. PS: Pictures taken in low/medium light condition will have the pink spot, very obvious if shooting on white wall or object. Camera Firmware Version: OMEF01 ![]() ![]() So allow me to make a poll here: 1. I have the pink spot problem no matter what update/upgrade I did, I just live with it 2. I never have the pink spot problem even on stock ROM, it is perfect on the day I bought it 3. I have the pink spot problem and it solved during a firmware upgrade, the firmware is " " I have 7 days to return / exchange the phone 1 to 1 since I've already discussed this with the seller, he never know of this problem which really surprise me |

Uncle Benny,
May I know why you didn't list Go Launcher in your recommended apps list at page 1. Just want to garther some info before i decide to go for Go Launcher. Tried Go Contacts and Go SMS, pretty nice apps. Other users opinion are most welcome. Thanks. |

QUOTE(nicregi @ Aug 5 2011, 08:40 AM) Yes. Gps burns battery. Off it when you are not using. Added on August 5, 2011, 8:41 am These are the best 3 launchers of my choice: Launcher Pro ADW launcher Go Launcher However, I am so bored with them so I just using stock now. Remember do a backup so next time, you reinstall back old launcher just restore the setting. Much faster. I change my launcher style every 3-4 days once due to boreness QUOTE(benny888 @ Aug 5 2011, 08:53 AM) Because I don't really like it unless you want its widgets Thanks guy for the fast response. My launcher preference: spb 3d shell, zeam, adw ex, launcher pro, go launcher spb 3d - looks cool but the price a bit ex. Rm44.40 zeam - minimalistic launcher. Go Launcher - really the widgets are nice. ADW and Launcher Pro - more choices I hate this forum (android) pamper me with so many alternatives.... |
