QUOTE(nicregi @ Jul 31 2011, 11:32 AM) I tested batista 3.2 with Angelom 12.quite insane cos I full charge at 2pm, about 10pm got about 10%left. Left it on idle until 9am next day (wz no connection on) just auto refresh every 10minutes for 15 seconds for email and I still got 6-8% battery. I know the graph is a little whacky that's why I just monitor by hours. Did you flash the Angelom 12's kernel through CWM using the zip file? I did it that way and it says "zImage not found"Added on July 31, 2011, 11:33 amSorry mean to say apple not apply phones. Haha sorry! |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Jul 31 2011, 11:47 AM) I said compared to v 2.1. Yes i am heavy user - my 3G is always on 24 hours - refresh/update data my email, RSS, newsfeeds, tweeters, browsing , MSN-Skype, GPS etc every 15 to 30 minutes What unlimited package is that? is is the P148?So for me using up 3 GB data is easy every month. You will also be shock at my data usage - just a day in Spore my data roaming charges for just one day hit around RM 1500 ; highest recorded was in May - RM 2250 just one day roaming data charges. But as I subscibed to Celocm postpiad unlimited package - i need not pay for these roaming - it is auto deducted monthly This post has been edited by Assclown: Jul 31 2011, 11:52 AM |

I flashed to Angelom13 kernel. Quadrant scores were much lower compared to Ninpo's kernel. On the first run 2900, thereafter increased to a max of 3200. With ninpo's can get till 3800.
What I notice during the Quadrant test was the framerates dropped a lot. This post has been edited by Assclown: Jul 31 2011, 12:27 PM |

i tested BLN control with Angelom14 kernel and I gotta say that NoLED works better. There are much more customizations and you can even dismiss the notification using the back button. This is really useful because you don't wanna keep pressing the home button everytime a message comes in.

For those who are using Celcom in Klang valley, how is the reception compared to Maxis? taking into account the 3G reception as well.
Considering to switch over because monthly bills on Maxis getting too high, and this is only for 500MB. This post has been edited by Assclown: Aug 1 2011, 11:13 PM |

QUOTE(LuffyPSP @ Aug 2 2011, 08:26 PM) yeap, with BLN support too! I dont see what's so good about BLN. NoLED works much better. BLN cannot be turned off in the pocket using the proximity sensor. And it also cannot be dismissed with the back button (which means you have to keep pressing the home button every time a notification comes in).flash the stock rom you'll see how it looks like. oh or go buy another sgs2 and see it out of the box. hahaha~~ |

QUOTE(LuffyPSP @ Aug 2 2011, 09:23 PM) its not good for you doesnt mean its not good for others. i rather have something inside the kernel instead of an app. Dude, u will still need to get an app for that la, the kernel only permits the app to work. The app's name is BLN controlyou my friend must be a rom flasher cuz of the theme and UI only. VR's apps and core system is optimized, deodexed and make it possible to flash themes, mods, and apply tweaks like the VRTweak app. of course people will see nothing difference. but i know many things is going on behind that stock like rom. of couse Litening is deodexed too, if not they are no themes! diff only the UI between VR, Litening and others. and diff dev diff optimization too. Added on August 2, 2011, 9:25 pmVR 2.4 is out, with Ninpo's 2.0.3 kernel inside! out of the box of awesomeness! edit: BLN also doesn't work with stock messaging app. Awww........... to those who like to use stock SMS app instead of third party sms apps, I recommend this app "SMS Fast Search" if you do want to search back for important messages quickly.

QUOTE(Bugeca @ Aug 9 2011, 12:38 PM) but once u click on the search result it just brings u to the conversation with that person displaying the latest SMS. u still need to scroll back up to find the particular message. It does not bring you direct to the message. This post has been edited by Assclown: Aug 9 2011, 12:45 PM |

QUOTE(Bugeca @ Aug 9 2011, 01:00 PM) Err I don't get it... Why you wanna view a full SMS in search application. Just select the from the list then it will show you the SMS. ok take this for example, you have a sms with lots of details in it and it was sent to you probably a week or even a month back. Viewing it just in one line wouldn't be enough, you definitely would want to open up the whole message to get all the details inside. There's where the google search app is lacking. When you click on the search result, it brings you to the latest message, not that particular message you want to view in full.Edit: Let me check SMS Fast Search to see the difference. Edit: Ok done testing, it is good app for SMS management. |
