if go back to Recovery and select the backup ROM file, wont it install back the OLD Rom ?

So my backup procedure is correct, that will be a relief hahhaha.

In case my phone mati, i can restore the entire existing rom back and it instantly back to its original state.

So after flash to new Litening rom, no need to do anything on the Kernel oledi right?
The new Litening rom also installed new Kernel right?

When you select restore the backup rom - it will replace fully the present firmware/kernel

That is because you did not bother to read the rom features properly. You are just shooting in the dark and hope to strike

sometime i have problem where my wifi connected but need to refresh...should i flash back to xxkg2 modem?..now using litening 4.2 xxkg3..

to flash modem, i believe we select phone in Odin right?..want to double confirm

I copy my contact list (.vcf) from my Wave to S2 thru bluetooth.
May I know where are the contacts list save in the S2?
I can't find the contact list in any folders in S2 including the bluetooth folder. But I can see the conatct list in the "Contact" tab.
Fyi, my phone is not yet rooted.

This is usually WIFI router problem not rom issue

You cannot see such a list ; you can see the contacts file though if you can access /system folder using root explorer
Why would you want to do this?? You can easily edit your contacts from the contact app
Your phone must be rooted to access system files

Anyone knows where to get original phone in penang area? Ready stock one..

I was curios if without the contact files how I could copy the contacts files to other phone in the future.

You should sync your contact to your Gmail account. Anytime you change phone, just use GMail to sync back. Keeping contacts file is old tech - the days of symbian, windows mobile - nowadays everyone use the cloud and is file-less and paperless. You can sync anytime, anywhere

what is the brand of bluetooth? 2 years warranty rite?
