I dont use any screen protector as my phone fully protected using argos case
i use those cheap alcohol based video head cleaners to clean screen

Anyways, i normally used window cleaner (orange smell). I will spray some on a tissue paper, and just put it under a couple of drops of water to dilute it, then wipe the screen..

my opinion don't use tissue paper..
tissue paper is not as smooth as cloth
it might scratch your screen also...

that's why I still use screen protector..

it's not about scratching it... it's about hard to remove stains if one day really kena some geng chao stain that blocks the view and impossible to remove, at least u can peal off the sp and change new one

to those who like to use stock SMS app instead of third party sms apps, I recommend this app "SMS Fast Search" if you do want to search back for important messages quickly.

I use normal Google Search App to search anything in my SMS. Works good so far.

Hi, just bought my galaxy s2, but found out the app icon and font is a little bit big.how do i change to a smaller size setting?

but once u click on the search result it just brings u to the conversation with that person displaying the latest SMS. u still need to scroll back up to find the particular message. It does not bring you direct to the message.

You cannot change the size thou but you can change the font. Try find anything suitable from the link below. Install like a normal app and change it at Display settings.

I notice that when you create shortcuts on the screen (for example gmail shortcut), the background of the wordings is light black. This is obviously more visible if you have a light color wallpaper. Anyway to make it transparent? Is there a setting in the phone that i missed?

I typed any keyword and it showed me the list of all conversations that has the word.

ya, but what if the conversation is like 4-5 lines long and you wanna view it in full?

Err I don't get it... Why you wanna view a full SMS in search application. Just select the from the list then it will show you the SMS.

Edit: Let me check SMS Fast Search to see the difference.

Edit: Ok done testing, it is good app for SMS management.

I read in xda that there are a few countries countries where our beloved SGSII could have been made of. Example from Brasil, China, Hungary, Mexico, Korea itself and last but not least - 'Made by Samsung' only, without stating which country.
Mind sharing where your SGSII was made of.? Just wonder whether we got from different country :-)
