QUOTE(Fallenangelz @ Jul 30 2011, 12:53 PM) litening i think is 4.2 already lol I use 4.2 before and my wifi seems fine wor. Kernal Ninpo... wifi is stable if you are using CF root, when using nymph kernel the wifi stucks at obtainin ip address step, and unless u change ur ip to static address (which is impossible in my company), your wifi will stuck there forever@@ QUOTE(silrave @ Jul 30 2011, 12:58 PM) hehe ya o XD if you want to install VR do this.just now i use the method at page 1 for rooting Rooting using SuperOneClick so if now i wan try install custom rom do i need change kernel ? cause i read at the page 1 of the villian rom First of all, if you are upgrading from VillainROM 1.2 or above, just flash this from CF-Root version of CWM. I suggest a backup first. A wipe is not required, but if you have issues, is suggested. I updated without a wipe, and no issues here. If you are installing from another ROM, or stock ROM, you need to be using the CF-Root kernel, as applicable for your current ROM. You can find CF-Root and instructions .... i am from custom to root then now i should how ? 1. if you do not have chain fire root, go xda, download it and install. If you have installed cf earlier then can ignore #1. 2. Now you got cf already. Install VR by, do backup if you want, MUST wipe full, wipe cache and wipe dalvik. 3. Now install VR through CWM. Power Up, Home and Power at same time. Chosoe install from zip and choose the VR file you saved in your sd card or phone memory. 4. Reboot. 5. Install VR tweak and install the updates in there (some are optional so is your choice). 6. Also good if you update the latest modem (link in VR forum), cos sometime it could affect signal, wifi or something. Added on July 30, 2011, 1:18 pm QUOTE(LuffyPSP @ Jul 30 2011, 01:17 PM) VR got problem with Ninpo's kernel? 99.9% close to impossible to have wifi issues with both of them. and i never got them too. QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Jul 30 2011, 04:14 PM) Let's no argue over some disagreement of idea ler .I'm also using the same kernel as in Angelom Thunderbolt . How good is it , let's try it and find it out ourselves ... If u look back the history of this developer , Angelom , he used to fake his quadrant results . I was hitting 5000 end with 1.4 or 1.5 OC on his ROM . If u ask me is he good , I would say yes , he is good but is he the best , no , he is not the best cook but he definitely trying to be ...... Maybe his kernel is really that good or maybe the results is tempered with again . Let's try it out ok coz I'm using it as well @Noobi3[attachmentid=2358658] [attachmentid=2358660] You said Cm7 not so stable but during your 'testing', what is the most problem you ever encounter? I mean like FC or xyz...? Just want to know before I get CM7 next week XD *anyway, in your honest opinion, who is the best cook for you? |

QUOTE(LuffyPSP @ Jul 30 2011, 04:31 PM) cm7 rarely has FC's. meaning of not stable is random reboot, some stuff not working. they wont be fc's on cm7 unless you install some script or themes. i even build cm7 based rom on desire while it is not officially released yet. Arhh..By the way, I still got to ask...some stuff not working mean.....? Just want to have an idea of what I might encounter BEFORE I flash |

QUOTE(Bugeca @ Jul 30 2011, 06:55 PM) Yeah, that's the problem with the stock browser. If you care much on privacy, before ending your browsing session. Open up a new windows (tab) which definitely load default home page. Then close the first windows (tab) before pressing the home button. The browser will suspend after a while after pressing the home button but for me the privacy is the most important thing. Do not want someone else oppps my last browsing session The reason my gf always buffer show using my phone. So she kinda lazy press the back back back thingy. Today she left my phone on the same page. I worry that it will run background and my 5g data allocation habis before next round. HahaQUOTE(Fallenangelz @ Jul 30 2011, 06:58 PM) well i'm one of those suffering from Nokia's two most epic failure in smart phones: N78 and N97. N97 is the worst, the only thing that i feel kesihan for throwing it aside inside the drawer is its 32gb internal storage. if only i could take out the 32gb and exchange wif SGSII's 16gb.... lol Yalo! I totally hate that. Jesus Christ! Why must press back so many time wor. Damn!stock browser reli is a pain in arse. dun have exit option, only can keep on press back, back, back and back @@ |

I tested batista 3.2 with Angelom 12.quite insane cos I full charge at 2pm, about 10pm got about 10%left. Left it on idle until 9am next day (wz no connection on) just auto refresh every 10minutes for 15 seconds for email and I still got 6-8% battery. I know the graph is a little whacky that's why I just monitor by hours.

Guys, I am planning to get a reasonable 32 gb memory card. Don't need an expensive one but just moderate will do just to keep data, photos etc.
Any suggestion on where I can buy? Any good recommendations? Also, anyone of you using CriskeloROM? I wonder how is it but it certainly does look promising This post has been edited by nicregi: Aug 2 2011, 09:08 AM |
