by restore u mean thru nandroid? btw sometimes when dl-ing i put it idle, and it reboots automatically and make the status bar keep on fc @@
*
not nandroid la. find the backup in VRTweaks/backup on your sd card. then replace them without the .bak extension in the original folder. example is system/framework. status bar fc is cuz you have clashing mods that you installed previously, related to the same modified file.

u use villain rom 2.3 right
how is the wifi is it stable ?
last time heard ppl say latest rom wifi not stable
now wanna installl custom rom
dunno litening rom 4.1 or villain rom 2.3
*
litening i think is 4.2 already lol

wifi is stable if you are using CF root, when using nymph kernel the wifi stucks at obtainin ip address step, and unless u change ur ip to static address (which is impossible in my company), your wifi will stuck there forever@@

hehe ya o XD
just now i use the method at page 1 for rooting
Rooting using SuperOneClick
so if now i wan try install custom rom
do i need change kernel ?
cause i read at the page 1 of the villian rom

First of all, if you are upgrading from VillainROM 1.2 or above, just flash this from CF-Root version of CWM. I suggest a backup first. A wipe is not required, but if you have issues, is suggested. I updated without a wipe, and no issues here.

If you are installing from another ROM, or stock ROM, you need to be using the CF-Root kernel, as applicable for your current ROM. You can find CF-Root and instructions ....

i am from custom to root then now i should how ?

will suggest you to flash thru odin for the CF root. after gain superuser and cwm (will have it automatically after flashing cf root) then wipe ur data and cache, then install villainrom via your cwm; which means put the villain file in you sd or ext_sd, then use cwm boot to recovery and flash it

VR got problem with Ninpo's kernel? 99.9% close to impossible to have wifi issues with both of them. and i never got them too.

if you want to install VR do this.

1. if you do not have chain fire root, go xda, download it and install. If you have installed cf earlier then can ignore #1.
2. Now you got cf already. Install VR by, do backup if you want, MUST wipe full, wipe cache and wipe dalvik.
3. Now install VR through CWM. Power Up, Home and Power at same time. Chosoe install from zip and choose the VR file you saved in your sd card or phone memory.
4. Reboot.
5. Install VR tweak and install the updates in there (some are optional so is your choice).
6. Also good if you update the latest modem (link in VR forum), cos sometime it could affect signal, wifi or something.

its a bug with the graph la, very obvious with the straight blue line underneath it, it shows 5hr+ using battery but if you click the graph above to get the bigger graph you will notice for the x-axis, it says 0 seconds or 1 minute something. Many people ad come and post here with a graph like that when its so obvious its a bug  doh.gif just incase u wanna argue with me like the previous fella, the battery percentage indicator is also linked to the graph, but if ur clever, you would've figure it out by the time you read half of what i posted  whistling.gif
*
i dont want to argue with u.. but ive check both graph and it show the same figure.. Flash Batista n than flash the angelom thunderbolt 12.. see it for you self..

if u clever enough.. let u try it.. some rom i flash got that bugs.. but not for angelom.. i'm just sharing.. u can read the angelom changelog for thunderbolt 12.. they highlighted for stability, memory and battery tweak..

now 11 hours with moderate use.. (sms and phone call) still got 91%..

guys.. better try it by yourself.. see it by your own eyes..
