eh been trying opera mobile these few days.. i find it silky smooth better than dolphin browser.. it resizes the text nicely no matter landscape or portrait, even in diff zoom modes.. anyone tried it also? seems like not many ppl are using it. why ah?

Stock browser on stock rom is fast already. No lag at all unless you're on deodexed custom rom then you'll need other browser.
But still, i use Opera Mini for reading and light browsing. It's the fastest browser of all :-)

hi there... anyone having problem with battery disconnected when trying to charge the handset?i always get this msg when trying to charge my hp...
*
There are cases in xda where their battery didn't fit tightly in the battery compartment hence the connector quite loose. What they do is slip in a piece of paper at the bottom of the battery so it will fit nicely.

Try it first before you do a factory reset if your phone still not charging. Or you can try another charger. Who knows maybe your charger is the culprit. If all fail then better bring it to Service Centre for checkup.

Ahhh.., just came back from the shop where i bought the phone. Ask why i still got NO msg from Samsung about my ewarranty and why my warranty card blank without imei sticker and shop stamp.
The boss said nothing to worry about. Sometimes Samsung didn't bother to send back the comfirmation msg. He said if anything happen, just send the phone to Service Centre. They have all the phone particular already. In case they they still reject then the boss said i can bring the phone to the shop so they can send it to Service Centre on my behalf.
There better be no problem otherwise i'll burn down the shop..!! :-P
Anybody got the same situation like me.?

Why so paranoid over this warranty issue ?? IF you are so worried, just maken sure you keep the receipt
I have been to Samsung Center 5 times and in all occasions need not show proof of warranty/no need even show receipt.
Same thing goes for all my previous HTC ; I just too lazy too followup with all these e-warranty, worrying about whether they sms me or email me back. I still can claim warranty including replace motherboard ( some more is AP set )
You guys forgot, nowadays everything is computerised

Glad to hear this sort of news from you Uncle Benny. Feels no more worried already. :-))

Should be Exynos-lah ! Where did you buy your phone ? If Tegra model number is I9103 not I9100 - you can see model number on the box

But shouldn't it be ARM A9 Cortex instead of ARM V7.??

From Wikipedia : The ARM Cortex-A9 MPCore is a multicore processor providing up to 4 cache-coherent Cortex-A9 cores, each implementing the ARM v7 instruction set architecture

Several system-on-a-chips (SoC's) are implementing the Cortex-A9 core, including:
Apple A5
Nvidia Tegra 2 series (without NEON extensions)
Nvidia Tegra (Kal-El) series
Renesas EMMA Mobile/EV2
Samsung Exynos 4210[5]
ST Ericsson NovaThor U8500[6]
Texas Instruments OMAP4 processors

Guys I need some help with 3g connectivity in all.my smartphones including my gs2

I love this phone n posting this question with it btw
I have one problem when it comes to 3g
When its connected its fast but at times it just automatically disconnected
The icong goes from 'h' to '3G' n this pisses me off especially when im streaming
it happens during normal battery operation n not power saving
Why the heck is this happening?

not ony that, ive experienced multiple cases of skyfire or the stock browser crashing, the phone suddenly reboots, temps go as high as 55c when im charging (using stock protector)

Anyone faced problems like thesd before?
*
Do you still on stock rom or using custom rom?
You get H signal icon only when download or uploading something otherwise it will stay at 3G.
Temperature at 55C is quite high. Usually while charging it's wont reach 45C. Something wrong about your phone.
Did you playing games or watching videos while charging your phone?
Do you have any illegal app in your phone? If you do then try uninstall it. Quite a lot of illegal app is badly written and can distrupt your phone system.

Ic.. Thanks for the clarification.

Also, I read that the battery stamina actually gets better with use. Is this true?
*
Yes it's true. If you want to save a little bit more of your battery juice then you can try to adjust your setting for your widget. Certain widget do an auto update regularly. You can change the setting for update manually exp. accuweather and ap mobile.
And if you had open latitude app before this, make sure you log out before you close the application otherwise it will keep on running in the background without you knowing it and gobbling your battery juice :-)

Hope this help. Cheers.!!

Guys,
I read in xda that there are a few countries countries where our beloved SGSII could have been made of. Example from Brasil, China, Hungary, Mexico, Korea itself and last but not least - 'Made by Samsung' only, without stating which country.
Mind sharing where your SGSII was made of.? Just wonder whether we got from different country :-)
Mine was Made by Samsung.
How about yours.??

You have to take out your battery first. Then only you can see a sticker inside the phone body where it printed where your phone is made of. :-)
