And yes, if you use LOD, means use the line out, which have higher output than normal headphone jack. It will bypass the internal volume. If you connect LOD straight to you headphone, it will damage your hearing and your headphone.

If you using Fiio E3, don't use with LOD.

seriously RSA (Ray Samuels Audio) stuff is good for its price.... take look at the P51 Mustang amp... so little yet so powerful but on the side note... i dont like RSA sound signature (most of them are quite bassy, the last time i tried the protector and thats the only amp from RSA i can accept listening)
