got my cables, and i was surprised how BIG the F12 plugs were, and the cables were thick as hell! i like it!!

thanks for the effort for pre-burning in pass the weekend and sending in on the Monday

SQ wise, still needs to be confirmed, but preliminary tests shows that this is some serious stuff

Dear TS & others,

Guys.

I need opinion on the best interconnects for my superlux hd668B & Fiio E6 setup to be used with laptop and mobile phone.

Do i need 2 sets of cables, one from the headphone to the amp & one from the amp to source OR only 1 (e.g. source to amp / headphone to amp) can do the best job?

Pls advise from personal experience or other customers request.

Got mine, Canare L4E6S + gold plugs and mix cable (1 silver plated copper and 2 square copper) + gold plugs.

Paring: Nokia N8 / PC (Creative X-Fi Titanium) with hippo amp+ (box plus) and SoundMagic PL50.

Performance: Very nice sound, clean and clear, workmanship also very good. The Canare L4E6S add more bass to my PL50, the mixed cable add more clarity to my PL50, didn't try yet with my hippo Shroom-EB, but clarity of both cables much more then stock cable.

Very nice seller, thanks for helping me burn-in both cables, recommended seller!

I'm not very much expert on this, but it add more bass and more clarity to the sound compare to normal cable, but it also depend on your setup like IEM or amps you are using.

@more2teayap...hey, i just recently bought a fiio e11 and my initial impression of stock cable is recessed vocal and narrow soundstage (even narrower than using my direct HP out)..it sounds very congested in short..which 1 of ur cable will u recommend me to buy to solve the problem? my songs are 60% vocals and 40% club hits + main stream pop...reply me via PM please =)

I was really skeptical of how cables could improve the sound of my headphones but decided to give them a try anyway.
Before this i was using those china made ones commonly found in electronic stores but as soon as i plugged in these D.I.Y cables,
immediately i felt that the clarity, imaging and soundstage has improved. In order to make sure it's not just placebo, i even had someone help me in a blind test.
Improvements are not as dramatic as say upgrading headphones, amplifiers or source.
In fact, it's subtle but very noticeable.

Last but not least, i would like to thank the seller for his great service and craftsmanship.
Cables are well made and i was constantly provided with updates.
Will definitely buy from him again if i need more.

Hey there, I'm currently looking for a decent interconnect between my portable amp and my portable player. Any suggestions to what I should be looking at? I'm currently running on a stock interconnect, and I found out that it does make a difference.

Just COD with the seller an hour ago for SPC 3.5mm mini to mini cable.To be honest,as I already own cryo copper and cryo gold,I don't expect the SPC to compete with them.I'm terribly wrong,the cable reveal even the miniscule detail that I've been looking for,something I couldn't hear before ,but the cable wouldn't suit basshead,as it take away bass quantity but replaced it with textured,tight bass.Will post my impression more after hearing it for longer time period.I use iPhone 3gs>LOD>SPC>Ordnance .22>ESW9 and Laptop>Govibe mini USB DAC>DIY headphone 12au7 tube amp>ESW9.My MS1 is currently undergone modding to MS1000,so couldn't post impression of this cable with bright sounding headphone.The setup does make my ESW9 sound brighter,the energy that I've been looking for all this time. rclxm9.gif

Just received cable today, TS very friendly guy, I gotta say, I do hear my vocals improve alot especially on my Ipod. Overall very good workmanship, cables really thick lol! I got to bear in mind the cable polarity, I might forget about the red being into the amp ahaha!

woo how to do mogamis sound compared to gotham audio? I'm actually wanting to try some silver copper mix. Tried Jaben's copper cryos, didnt like the sound, haha tried their big on noise cable, was immediately drooling..but obviously unaffordable. Do you have any mixed cables?

Can you do mini-to-mini interconnect? Need one between my DAC and AMP, so it'll have to be short since they're sandwiched on top of one another. If possible, right angle mini to mini or "L" shape. Cable material for something more neutral-sounding. How long does the workmanship take?

Tried out the cable already .....not bad really got different with those ciplak RM2 china cable.

But the downside is one of my laptop port cant be plug due to Canare head too large sad.gif

hi bro i m currently looking for Y splitter and then a female to female plug...as my speaker does not have another 3.5mm input jack port...so the only way to connect is via the 3.5mm male which required a female 3.5mm port...is it possible to make one? i juz need the female to female 3.5mm port...

Hi bro, I have your Canare L4E6S with gold plated Taiwan plugs and Hybrid mixed cable with gold plated Taiwan plugs, both cables are really good, but I'm just using the Hybrid mixed cable more than the Canare L4E6S as it has bigger soundstage and more clarity.

Now I'm looking for a better cable than the Hybrid mixed that I have now, I'm looking for a clarity and bigger soundstage, do other cables which are better that I have now?

My set up is similar to thamch's set up. I'm connecting a Krator Bluetooth 3.0 A2DP music streaming USB dongle that has a 3.5mm Audio Out port to the 3.5mm AUX IN port of my car audio player.

1 meter Gotham GAC4/1 with Switchcraft 3502ABAU and Switchcraft 35HDBAU

So much improvement! Lower frequency regions are much clearer, the high smoother! Bass is to my liking, less tight and hence boomier now biggrin.gif:D:D

Update: I have heard some lower frequency background part that has never been heard before!

Amp: Govibe Peak desktop Amp
Headset: Beyerdynamic dt880pro 250 ohm

It's been a while since I bought the cable, but I can finally give a simple review.

The cable, connected to a Fiio E11, does in fact improve highs and even instrument separation. The soundstage noticeably improved as well. However, this depends on the headphones I'm using.
Some pairs have sounded harsher than before; this may not be suitable for pairs with forward mids or highs. My best guess is that the cable I got is best for headphones lacking in the highs, or rather to tame bass-centric cans. But since I already have plans to upgrade my headphones soon, the cable would be put to better use by then.

Overall, great cable, though it may not fit to everyone's taste. Thanks more2teayap for this product smile.gif

Yes you are right, Gotham GAC4/1 mini focuses on highs, good for setup that lacks of highs but remains the sound of copper.
