Hi all, i decided to share my collection of landscapes here for critics and knowledge sharing. Most of my landscape were taken using Uwa sigma 10 20 + - few filters such as , Lee GND 0.6s or 0.9s , Hoya CPL, Hoya ND8 and Singray gold-N-blue and B+W nd110 10 stop filter . Some of the shots here were taken using sony alpha 200 ( my older gear ) and recent shot were taken using Nikon d7k. I hope some sifu here can fuse more critics into my thread.

You have the best way to capture scenery photo. From lead-in-line, foreground interest until water reflection, those are the main needed elements to make a wonderful scenery photo. You are doing the way well. And I never thought Sigma 10-20mm can produce such a fantastic pictures.

Bravo! smile.gif

love your pics actually, saw them on your flickr link just a few days ago.

for example,

#3 has slightly unlevelled horizon.
#6 has dust spec on the upper right
#7 has this dark coloration on top

overall still very lovely, a fine example that you don't need uber gears to take awesome photos! smile.gif

Hi, I am very interested on the setting you're using, mind to share especially the aperture size? And which point you're focusing on? 1/3 of the whole scene? Or foreground subject? Thanks smile.gif

Interesting...But calculation for Hyperfocal Focusing is damn difficult. It's even harder for a non-wide angle lens to make it. Will try to read more about this. Thanks for sharing. smile.gif

of all the photos,

i will comment on this

are you using CPL with this ?

ring CPL only can cover 90 degree of view when mounted into a lens. so beware of the "uneven" of CPL coverage if shoot more than 90 degree of view.

btw, good job with those photos. rich in color and nice effort to take those long expo. I believe for long expo requires to take few picture to get nice one wink.gif
