Too bad about the results. No matter how bad Singapore's play-acting is, or how ever many players they import - it still boils down to our own 11 on the field. And in the end, we just weren't good enough.

Can't pass properly, can't defend properly. Our weaknesses were sorely exposed, and it didn't even require the likes of Korea & Japan to do so.

But this bunch seem to hold a lot of potential - the Suzuki Cup surely proved something - and if they can improve on those weaknesses they can go places!

It was also great seeing the fans back in droves, and the experience of a fully-packed Bukit Jalil stadium is quite amazing. From the chants to the waves and the Negaraku - any team in the world would be proud of such passionate support. It's nice seeing fan support for local football slowly catching up to the glory days of the 80s & 90s.

I'd rate the crowd performance a solid 7/10 - the only negatives being the smoking - it was particularly awful during halftime (indoor smoking is not allowed kan?), the booing of the S'pore anthem and of course the throwing of bottles.

K. Devan is still coach, no? Only his management role replaced.

Kena ingat juga, bahawa pemilik-pemilik syarikat ini bukanlah entiti kebajikan dimana mereka perlu memberi peluang kepada sesiapa. Biarlah pemain kita dipilih berdasarkan keupayaan mereka sendiri tanpa bersandangkan pemilikan kelab. Jangan kita menagih lagi dipandang hina.

Good line. If the players are good enough they will make it at any clubs.
On the same note, I believe the ownership should be able to provide more opportunities for our youths to train with theirs. Like the U18s, U15s, etc where the potential for development is still very high.
