Most of my furniture is from ikea. so far no problem. I have a set of billy cupboard which already over 10yrs. Cost me rm5k.

But those small item which is very cheap are crap quality. Last time brought a toilet brush but the brush loose out just 1x use.

The Billy design very longtime already. Even my Billycase wood color absolute. No more produce. Last time I left a Billy cd rack. Go back buy but no more produce that color. Ask them find the whole world ikea shop for me. Lucky spore ikea have stock. Wait 2week and go collect. sweat.gif

From my experience, those IKEA furniture with large surface (table, big wardrobe, tv cabinet) won't last long. I had these items which wrap after 6months of usage. Billy book case is ok as i had few that still looking good. So choose wisely and pay a bit more for more solid wood.

I have this small laptop table also have this warp problem which cause by the water that I didn't wipe out. It absorb below the laminate layer. I guess the surface don't have a waterproof layer.

Cheap but crap quality.
