There're pros and cons. I like Ikea coz I can get a lot of visual ideas there and I find a lot of things reasonably priced compared to furniture shops elsewhere. It's more accessible too. But on the other hand, I find that some(not sure if it's everything) things there are of poor quality or gone through bad QC. I've been buying their tea lights for years and the price keeps increasing but quality worse. Last time the bottom of the wick is stuck to a piece of small round metal but these last few packs I bought don't have those metals causing the wick to sink and out of place after being lit for some time. I threw away a lot of tea lights that way. Also, I bought a table few months ago and when I assemble it, one leg didn't fit at all. So had to bring it back and change. The guy working there told me Ikea's quality nowadays very 'teruk'. I bought a bookshelf many years ago. That one is still in excellent condition.

Still for me, it is the most accessible(everything under one roof) among all furniture stores. Yesterday went to Viva Homes...just couldn't find anything appealing there. My 2 cents la...

I should've said best in my family's opinion. tongue.gif

Btw, yesterday I bought a rug that's on sale for RM2xx(forgot exact amount). Came back and check...got defect. Hopefully they'll change it for me.
