 [WTA] EDIFIER S530D with AC Ryan Playon HD 2

I just bought this speaker from my friend. The problem is when i connect the speaker to POHD2 via optical output, there is no sound at all. same thing happen when connect to the astro beyond via coaxial (when i set audio output to dolby digital). But there is a sound when i set the astro to stereo. Is it normal in my case.

My previous speaker (Altec Lansing ADA 885) can do it with both player even in digital or analog output.

not all digital connection are supported by this Edifier S330D

it supports basic digital input, not complex ones like what you said up there

go for analogue~ it works somewhat similar or better

yes it works, but for sure the sound quality is different if compared to the sound from digital output itself, isn't it.

well it depends on the source though...

in my case my source is amazing so digital sux compared to analogue

i have S530D i try digital input from my MAC fir music really not a good idea but i connect from my media player box for movie the sound is fantastic

hi , have you solve this issue? recently i got POHD2, plan to get Edifier S530D.. for digital output. is that a good idea?
