Pharmacy student if going for postgrads , will mostly involve in research. Most of the research will range from Pharmaceutical to alternative medicines and pharmacognosy. correct me if i am wrong. The postgrads undergone by Pharmacy student is similar to the postgrads done by life science grads like Biotech, biochem.
I am wondering also, does the Master in Pharmaceutical technology in UCSI is only open for holder of BPharm? |

Lots of local universities have their postgrad program. Uitm, um, ukm, usm all have masters program for clin pharm and some other course. They have courseworks and research course. For scholarship, try google mybrain and myphd

Hai. I have a question.
If one has MPharm done by 2+2 in Malaysia and UK, then can he pursue PhD in UK ??? or still have to undergo Master postgraduate programme because MPharm is master undergraduate???? This post has been edited by sotong1992: Sep 3 2011, 06:07 PM |

Well, it entirely depends on your results during MPharm...if you are really good you can skip the post graduate masters IINM...If one has MPharm done by 2+2 in Malaysia and UK, then can he pursue PhD in UK ??? or still have to undergo Master postgraduate programme because MPharm is master undergraduate???? |

QUOTE(sotong1992 @ Sep 3 2011, 06:11 PM) i have two lecturers who did that..which was quite a number of years ago..so i can't confirm whether you can do like this again... i also heard somewhere that a postgraduate masters is necessary irregardless of your degree grades..please do double confirm if you plan to hop on the PhD bandwagon somewhere in the near future. |

mpharm uk is s bachelor's degree. As any bachelor's degree, if your results are really2 good, and you have a good plan and proposal that you really interested in, some universities will accept you directly for phd.
