I need to send a sms to celcom when i want to subcribe for my prepaid data broadband for my ipad2. Someone advide me To take out the sim fr ipad, inaert in a phone, sms a subscribtion msg to celcome" then take it out, n insert bek to the ipad. So troublesome?

TS originaly asking how to sent recieve sms for celcom coz need to activate n yes it can, non 3g of coz you can't sent sms using the celcom sim card doh.gif you need to use other method like skype but you will need internet active for that so short answer no depend on your need biggrin.gif

Yes, definately need 3g. I will try the methods u were saying, update u once it works, thanks so much for the info

You can without 3G. But you would still need constant internet and a YES account to call and sms with.

The purpose of i need to send sms thru ipad2 is for the subcription of the prepaid broadband. (tips: if ur sim card is for broadband use only, u can only send the sms to the services centre eg 28882, unless ur sim is a phone sim)

bro i have the problem of activate this..mind to guide?

when i click activate ..i wait more than an hour..my number still cannot be activate thru this app...but i can use in whatsapp..and receive sms edy..but i cant send sms...

Cool, I didn't know that's possible. But YES also have an App that allows you to make phone calls & send SMS, so your iPad is like a Phone. tongue.gif
