Howdie everyone,

Jaben Network will be participating in 2011 KL AV show again. The previous year event was a success, with a lot of people showing huge interest in delicate headphones/earphones, exotic amplifiers; we plan to bring in more new stuffs, more special offers, more fun events to quench the curiosity of our beloved Jabenites.





Show Dates: 29-31 July 2011
Time: Friday - 11am to 7.30pm, Saturday & Sunday - 10am to 7.30pm
Jaben Network showroom: JW Marriott Hotel Floor 8 Room 5.

Please note that Jaben Malaysia Subang Jaya will not be operating at 29.7.11 to 31.7.11 due to the KLAV show.

What exotic, what new stuff we will be show casting?

The previous year we have been show casting some of the high end amps for the likes of Yamamoto, Rudistor but a lot of people complained that the place is too crowded for a proper and relaxing listening. In this year ofwe will allocate a quieter place for people to sit down and test a few of the newest head-fi products. We will be featuring:

It will be our renowned Beyerdynamic DT770Pro (SRP in Msia is RM950).It is a great closed reference headphone for control and monitoring applications.



Announcement of winner will be on every channel available after the KLAV show (twitter, facebook,headjam.org forums etc).
In the meantime, hourly lucky draws and door gifts will be distributed generously as supported by Jaben Network headquarters.

Anyway just to update : Today just a great day i had in jaben. Well i'm going there around 11.00am at level 8 where jaben located. first round i tested few headphone that Jaben promise to bring in such as Sennheiser HD800, Hifiman HE6, T1 & Rudistor Chorma MD1 Pro. Well i did test all to Rudistor RP8 with the headphones that i mentioned here. Well also meet one buyer who brought MS-PRO to his son for listening music. well he told me that his sons only form 4 then wow!!! such a good father and his son is really lucky hehe...Acutally on that day i'm waiting Bro Azio to came so he manage to came around 3pm. Anyway back to highlight i went to few levels to find out some speaker as well and i meet htkaki which only few further rooms in same level with jaben located. There is a lot of cds is selling in level 4 main conference room. even LP, XRCD, HQ & K2HD i found out my regular seller is there too. the store name "Love Music" i guess all should have a look ya..is really good stuff around there. anyway i already see through the stuff two days before they came to the booth hehe..anyway store located in Ampang Park Shopping Mall -Ground Floor. Then i went to meet Alvin from Perfect Hifi too at Level 4. almost around 2pm Jaben Boss Uncle Wilson arrived and guess what hehe....the Govibe Porta Tube is here...and also Legendary AKG K1000...more higher hehe....he did bring a rare gems to share with us which is Grado PS1000? HEHE actually is not PS1000 but is much more legendary Priceless unit that is Grado PS1 wow...So guys who have tried this few units that uncle bring over from Singapore for this exhibition. Thanks to uncle for nice gems you brought. you save my day yay!!! Anyway Some good about that porta tube is have you tested with AKG1000 in portable?? haha...go and find out tmr at the KLAV. Just for the day itself you can listen on the rare item and also a very attractive bundle. So i guess i don't want to reveal more hehe..go and find out tmr... happy listening..

the hifiman headphone were really hard to drive... even on the rudistor amp also cannot hear much... gila punya headphones...

I choose the remote as I already have one Harmony 885 now and really like it.

Went over to KLAV today, dropped by Jaben when they are about to close after 7.30p.m. Glad that they introduced me the Grado bundle package... ahh kena poisoned. Now still in dilemma whether to get MS1 + Amp or just get a S125i...

MS1 a bit mellow than grado range....

if u like rock s125i is ur sure shot....

Gentlement, here's new cable made by me, PcWork Solista, solely made and release to JABEN only.
it's a new Stereo-RCA cable made based on Symphonica structure and methods. It's standard is on par with Symphonica cable.

i will recommend if anyone test this to connect line out dock at jaben, to rudistor RP8 amp. driving symphonica HD650.
=) the sound is quite not bad..

Oh went there and met walabies / yuheng and other staffs,

i could only describe one word for the go-vibe USB DAC , WOWOWOWOWO !!!

Don't look down on its price , its damn good !!!!!

Not only it gives tighter and stronger bass for my ksc75 pcwork recabled and its sound cleaner,

hippo box which i tried quite neutral not really as good as i expected

did u also try the DACport?

which one is DACport ah ?

1st ) dun wan get poison
2nd ) later i keep compare this and that not good for wealth

dacport is d usb dac stick by centrance . u should try it. Xandman & me is some of the happy user . Its a long term investment man .

Haha, I go there mainly test how will it sound like for my ksc75 recabled paired with Go-Vibe usb dac ah it turns out so good. Now i keep missing the sound

On the other hand, I lost my nokia e72 while resting at lot10 , FML

pity u. then u got to fund for the important thing first. But yup. usb dac is a great buy if ur using pc.

i oso havnt test my recabled ksc75 with dacport. currently sending back for warranty. when its back. ill spread d poison .

lol i went on the last day around 4ish pm i believe.

had a decent go on the beyer's T1 (very minor/brief review on the beyer's thread), rudistor amp and the centrance dacport. fairly poisoned by it, until i found out the price is a whooping 1.5k. yeah, ill settle with the x-fi for now. i need something for my shitty laptop for events like these or gatherings, but 1.5k for that purpose... NOPE.jpg

Yeap, you can't charge while listening, I normally just charge it till the red light turns off. sometimes I left it overnight too.

ahhh ! When will you be getting ur fixed AD900 ?
I want to try but yesterday only has AD300 so unable to try out

Sigh ... Everytime I visit Jaben, I'll always end up buying something more expensive than I first budgeted.

Was planning to get an ATH-M50 but they mentioned that Msia does not have the straight cable type (ATH-M50s). That already dropped my mood and I was ready to leave. Maybe go back home and cry. It's a good thing they placed a DT770 next to the M50 test unit. After testing it out, it seems like both M50 and DT770 has the same bass. The DT770 has better soundstage, confort and most of all a STRAIGHT CABLE.

Budget crack. Tested the device for more than an hour, then finally decided to just buy it. The wallet still hurts. But it's a fine choice when paired with BluRay movies.
