Hi hi, as with the others need help selecting a card.

1. Annual Income: RM60K-RM70K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Must

3. Card required for: Petrol, Cash Back/Rebate Only, Overseas Transactions, Free LCCT Lounge Access, online purchases, usual groceries,

4. Existing credit cards if any: HSBC Amanah-i Gold Card (in process of upgrading to platinum), thinking of getting rid of it, not beneficial for me.

5. Preferred Bank or Considering CC from banks: Maybank2, OCBC Titanium

6. Others: Want to use the cards for the basic payments, petrol and bills. And as a backup when I travel overseas (2-3 times a year). Would be good to earn some money from it as well

7. Estimated Spending per month with the card: RM1K to RM5K

What do you think about my plan to get rid of HSBC Gold? Have never joined any contests, especially the "SMS to join" ones. Ditch/Keep? Plus the Takaful Card Protection eats up any cashback I get.

What if I want to limit to 1K spending monthly? Still get both the cards?
