1. Annual Income: RM 48k

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: A Must

3. Card required for: Overseas Transactions (online shopping)

4. Existing credit cards if any: CIMB PETRONAS Platinum, Citibank Rewards Platinum

5. Looking at CC from: Maybank2Cards; Any with good cash back rebate

6. Others: Most of my CC expenditure were spent on online shopping. My current CC don't really provide a good cash back on my spendings. Need advice to choose a better CC before terminating my CIMB CC...

Thanks for the fast reply! Yea. I think I'll go for Maybank2Cards as it gives 5% cashback on any retail purchase, but only on weekends. I think I can live with that biggrin.gif
For OCBC and UOB CC, I'm pretty sure the stuff I'm buying (action figures) doesn't fall into any categories designated sweat.gif

You can consider HLB Wise card as it provide 10% cash rebate capped at Rm100/month but you need to swipe 10 times retail transactions that >= RM50 to activate the cash back. Please correct me if im wrong.

Yea it sounds attractive at first glance, but the minimum 10 times swipe with each swipe >= RM50 is the thing that bugged me, alot. I don't do that much of transactions every month. Plus we have to select the categories (1 or 2 categories, can't remember) to enjoy the rebate. Anyway thanks for the feedback. Appreciate it!

You must understand that the 5% rebate comes from AmEx and definitely it has lower acceptance rate compared to Visa or MasterCard. Normal Malaysia's merchants still prefer Visa and MC.

The best combo is M2Card + OCBC Ti and I'm sure many would have agreed with me. Since your income fulfills for that, I will suggest you to couple it with M2Card.

I'm using both now and still can't find any other better card that can compare with this combo.

Ah, I see.. Thanks for the suggestions thumbup.gif
Luckily the online shops I frequent accept AmEx biggrin.gif
