1. Annual Income: RM100K and above.

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: A Must.

3. Card required for: Petrol, Air Ticket, Astro & Telco Auto Debit.

4. Existing credit cards if any: Public Bank (Visa) Gold.

5. Preferred Bank or Considering CC from banks:

6. Others: Please be specific. I've been using PB Visa for almost 2 years now, previously i had maybank Visa & Amex + Bank Islam Mastercard but i discarded these 2 early this year. Any good CC to use other than PB Visa? they offered me platinum, is it worth it with my little spending?

7. Estimated Spending per month with the card: Less than RM1K tongue.gif hehe..

OCBC Titanium MasterCard. Clck here to read about OCBC and Maybankard 2 Cards, where both are cash back cards and earns you more versus your current Public Bank credit card. Even the Maybankard 2 Visa or MAsterCard which earns you 1X TP is better than your PBB Gold in terms of returns. The link also has a table comparing different cash back cards.

I think no harm getting PBB Platnium over the Gold  since the annual fee is also waived with 1 swipe per month. But I don't understand why you cancel your AMEX ( I assume is AMEX AMEX and not Maybankard 2 AMEX ) which can be used for all requirements and earn minimum 2X points which is much better than PBB Gold.

Thx for the link, it was a good read. OCBC Titanium Mastercard 5% cashback have this monthly capped of RM50 for its cash back n will get nothing once this cap is reach, OCBC good for spender less than rm1k.. like myself smile.gif

Come back to the CC, i was made to understand few months ago each of the banks(either visa or mastercard) imposed this one time transaction pin for any online purchases, the pin will have to be sent to the number you have entered for online transaction. This is a hassle to any workers working without any h/phone signal for a period of time. Luckily my PB cards was not one of the cards imposed for this one time transaction pin, i have my own pin which is the same pin i used for every transaction (come to think about it, its kinda not safe as this could expose to cc fraud/abuse), but the advantage is i can use my cc even while im working with no h/phone signal to receive the pin..

My PBB gold annual fee was not waived and charged to my bil in mid year, i had to call and ask them to waive it. (my annual swipe surpass 12x) luckily it was waive and the money return back on the next month bil.

It was maybankard amex, rarely used and since govt imposed on the service tax.. i decided to cancel all my unused cards.
