The AMEX is a must, it seems that MBB now issuing AMEX + MC, that's what most people reported at MBB 2 thread.

Oh, if you need to pump at Petronas, still can use the Visa or MC, just that you earn 1X TP instead of 5XTP with the AMEX.

if only use at petronas and not planing to use it for anywhere else
maybank petronas cc would still much better with 3x TP

1. Annual Income: RM24K to RM30K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: A Must

3. Card required for: Petrol, Shopping, Movies, Cash Back/Rebate, household and furniture, Telco

4. Existing credit cards if any: Nil.

5. Preferred Bank or Considering CC from banks: Citibank Choice Credit Card (Because I hear that citibank offer many privilege and discount in many hyper)

6. Others: I want to find a CC that its interest rate is low for me to swap when some shop did not offer 0% monthly installment.

7. Estimated Spending per month with the card: RM 1k to 2k.

Hi!

If you want petrol rebates as well as phone bill rebates, OCBC and Maybank are the best. But if your parents dont mind changing petrol station, Citibank Shell Gold Visa Card is giving up to 8% on fuel rebate.

Here is a list that your parents might find useful for some comparison.

Hope you find it useful!

frankly speaking
that's one of the card i would avoid
due to the tier rebate system on petrol and only cashback to us in RM 50 block if not mistaken
