QUOTE(Ken @ Jul 28 2011, 02:00 PM)
after win this will go to the final group stage ?

if not mistaken for the past world cup, malaysia use to play with stronger opponent at this stage like saudi, why now get SG ? consider not a strong opponent compare the east and west asia country ...

Nope, we will be in the Round 3 for the first time since we started playing qualifiers. Winners from the all the matches tonight will progress to Round 3, The third round will see the 5 automatic qualifiers (Japan, Australia, Korea, North Korea, Bahrain) joined by the 15 winners from the second round. These teams will be drawn into five groups of four teams.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the fourth round. The fourth round will see the group winners and runners-up from the third round play in two groups of five. The top two teams from each group will advance to the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals in Brazil, while the two third-placed teams advance to the fifth round.

From the Group 1 (Third Placed) vs Group 2 (Third Placed) , two legged play-offs. The fifth round winner will play either CONCACAF's fourth-placed team, CONMEBOL's fifth-placed team or OFC's first-placed team (to be determined in a draw) in a home-and-away play-off. The winner of this play-off qualifies for the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals.

Just imagine, how many hurdles Malaysia has to go through, if we dream of historic World Cup Finals in 2014. Believe !

Malaysian team should have 10 strikers in a team. When Singapore chained the lone front striker Safee in 1st half, Malaysia looked dull. Rajagobal, please put all strikers in a team if defender cant do defending job well. Mourinho once deployed Samuel Eto as defender in Inter squad and why do you think he (mourinho) did that?

Dont be like Arsenal to wait for players to mature when the likes of Barca or top class team in the world have players from different position can score. You tie Messi, but there's Xavi..lock Xavi and messi there's Iniesta...when you control 3 of them which will open up some spaces even Puyol can score...

Kunalan is a good player but he cant score...too much burden on Safee alone
