Did you put your country as US? Because I read only launch countries are getting invites.

I'm super-pissed off the fact that the release date is closing and I still don't have a way to buy this game reliably. I need my MMO fix (that isn't totally disappointing).

Also more pissed off Guild Wars 2 isn't out sooner and I have to play this in the meantime. Oh wait, I mean NOT play this.

Are they sending the box? Cos if not how to install the game?

Online cd-key only thru Origins which is blocked if you're in the red zone.

Early Access just means they send you the box earlier than the launch date.
(Bought WoW expansions locally, they always manage to send the box 1 day or 2 before launch date)

Only way to download it is thru Origins, in which you have to buy a digital copy from Origins. No digital copy = no client download. Registering pre-order codes is just that, registering the code from your box, they aren't letting you download.

So there's one person selling pre-order codes here (he's prolly a few pages up). He's selling pre-order codes and not sending the actual box. I'm like "So I'm paying you RM300 to help you register a code? no box no client no cdkey for me? And your supplier is LucasArts...okay". And I laughed in his face (metaphorically) for failing at scamming.

Beta weekend is going to suck.... with basically everyone invited to join.

Usually I wouldn't join just because its way too crowded. But I think I have to cos I cant frigging buy the actual game.

no digital download, a lot of countries are blocked from buying at release.

you wont get blocked from importing the game, we're just blocked from buying the digital copy because only EA is selling it.

remember the game is 60usd and you're gonna be paying 35usd, 50% of the price to have it shipped to you. and playing the open beta now, seems its very unpolished. i'm not gonna bother maybe until they offer it officially to us.

The CD-Key will be in the box when Amazon delivers it to you.
Early Access Key = you play before launch day. You're already playing before launch day, what for need CD-key to play on launch day.

Amazon will prolly make sure you get it before Dec 20. Don't worry.

If local game retailers can make sure I get wow expansions on launch day, you can bet Amazon can get it to you before Dec 20. Even if its late a few days, its not the end of the world.

Offgamers used to be shady in that it sold wow gold, is it trustworthy?

Why is everyone so scattered on different servers? Unless you already have a guild and you follow them.

(warning: high queues during US primetime, 9am our time)

The unofficial PVP server is The Swiftsure.

In the long run, its better to be on the more populated oceanic server... even tho its a longer queue.

I only hit long queue in the morning on the weekends on The Harbinger. I usually wake up like 8:30am, join queue, go back to bed for 1/2 hour lol.
