Anyone can guide me how to do port forwarding for router RG TMRnd gen 1.0 ?

I also need help on this... I can't view my CCTV from internet!

my call to technical support today also on port forwarding for 4 of my ip cameras and i am still stuck:-

ME: Dialled their support line 1300881221 and after waiting for 10 minutes. Unifi support?
unifi: Yes, can i help you
Me: I am subscribed to unibiz and have this unifi router that i need help on port forwarding my ip cameras. The manufacturer is TMrnd
unifi: is it the black colour one ?
Me: Yes it is
unifi: oh, this router is very very new and we do not have any information to teach you how to port forward
Me: How about user manual?
unifi: not received yet
Me: When can we expect all these to be answered?
unifi: we will update on our website when it is ready. Is there anything else ,sir

After I rebooted the router port forwarding doesn't work anymore.

Oh!forgot to tell u the in house configuration not completed yet :/

Unifi installation done on 23/07/2011, 3.30pm.
1st thing to do is to change all the password and understand how to configure the router.
The technician told me this router is very new and he do not know how to configure it.
Spend few hours to do some research on internet on this router.
11.30pm give up and called unifi customer support.
just like what you said, the equipment is very new and they cannot help.
Mine even worse, my user ID is admin, WITH NO password, the so call 'admin' right is set to 'operator' mean limited operation in the router.
Cannot add new login, cannot change password.
I told the customer support, at least i need to set the password for the router, he said cannot help.
Then i said anyone with a bit of computer knowledge can access the router and change some of the data.
He said Yes, but we can't do anything at the moment.
I was like..............................................................................

Man, don't tell me you're working on this product...

i called the unifi service center, and they reply still pending to update the config, which i say havent completed yet

After 3 hour give up, any compatible router out there can work with Unifi & IPTV ?

I have managed to setup port forwarding in the UNIFI ROUTER to work with my uTorrent program.

Pls view my attached picture

After putting it in, always try to go to: CanYouSeeMe.ORG

Then key in your port to test whether it is forwarded correctly.

For CCTV usage, i do have this problem, wonder does you all have it?

i have do all the port forwarding.... and i have no problem view over internet. the problem is, i cant view on LAN. when i disable the port forwarding, then i can view on LAN but i wont be able view over internet.

Wonder if could bridge this tmrnd router and then connect to my old d-link DSL 2640b wireless/wired router. This not been able to port forward is driving me nuts

Added on August 4, 2011, 11:24 amMine is the other way round, I could not view from a remote location but can view over my internal wired or wireless lan . I am using 4 dlink ip cameras.

Would it be convenient to share your port forwarding settings via print screen and email the jpeg to my email at ed@toys.com.my

I will understand if you are unable to and appreciated you sharing this topic

Yes, I face this too. Another reason to ditch the TM RND 1.0 and get yourself something that works.

Add ur host into dmz then all port will be open no headache :-)

i got no problem viewing over internet.... i CANT view on LAN.
but when i disable the port forwarding, then only can view on LAN

Forgot to add - the reason why you can't view it is because the geniuses there didn't write the filters correctly. A packet from a LAN port to another LAN port should be forwarded without change, but what they do is freakin source-NAT the packet to the WAN IP if the destination is port forwarded.

So if you have a port forward to 192.168.1.101:80, and your client and server are on two different switch ports of the TM RND, the packets look like this:

Sent by 192.168.1.100: src=192.168.1.100 dst=192.168.1.101 TCP SYN
Received by 192.168.101: src=175.12.53.3 dst=192.168.1.101 TCP SYN

Sigh.

So is that mean no still can port-forward this modem?

I heard that this router has been recalled.

Perhaps you should report problem to TM UniFi centre and get technician to replace it to the DIR-615 router instead.

same problem with my tmrnd router , cannot do 2 things at one time and there is no help at the moment, it is a bug and hopefully it will be rectified soon

but mine is different.. I can view my cam/DVR on LAN and unable to view over the internet.

I don't mind not to view over LAN, what the most important is to view over the internet.

Go to DMZ, enable it and put ur CCTV host name (192.168.....) there

Log in as above to configure port forwarding in the rnd

ok to those who wanna view via local lan as well as view from remote, you can try these:-

To try to make things easily understood, let's take as an example to diff 2 locations namely host and remote

host side- this is where the camera/cctv is ( we name it simply at HQ).

remote side- This is the location where you want to view what is going on at HQ. Imagine you are in Ipoh lah

local lan viewing - put your port to 80 and assign a fixed ip for your camera. This should be pretty straight forward. If the fixed ip of the camera is 192.168.0.88 and the port is 80, just fire up your browser and type in http://192.168.0.103:80. Please ONLY use port 80.

for remote viewing in Ipoh, you must first enable port forwarding in your rnd router at HQ. Type in 1990 in the port for your camera. Do not restart the router at hq after enabling port forwarding.

If you know the current ip at hq, type in for example 'http://175.65.678.67:1990' in your ipoh computer's browser. 1990 is the port number of your camera at HQ

You must be wondering why at remote(ipoh) the port to see is 1990 and at lan(hq) the port to see is 80? TM is currently working on these issue.

Note: DO NOT reboot the rnd after enabling port forward.If you insist on rebooting then you will not be able to view the camera and you have to repeat the whole process again

Remember I failed to connect my smart tv? it is becoz of this %$#@ TMRnd router problem!!! I used other router and work well!!!

I ALSO FACING THE SAME PROB !!! ANY SOLUTION YET ?

For all, after I replace the TMRnd router with TP-Link 841ND (with upgrade Unifi firmware), all the problems solved!!

My CCTV work great!!! my Smart TV connected with devices without any trouble!!!

Follow both instruction but still couldnt get it to work. http://canyouseeme.org/ is unable to see my service.

I am forwarding the port 80 to my machine. Here is how i configure it:




I wan to forward port 80 to my machine is because i wan to test something with the website i built. i want to host it on my machine at home, and access it remotely.

Last time streamyx modem/router so easy to do... y this crap so susah 1... sighhh

Http port =80
Control port =1600
Data port=37260

When I set the ddns it fails to connect.
At canyouseeme fail to ping port 80. I saw the router admin remote control is 8080.
My attached ddns pic user name I don't know whether is dvr login name or what. Host is that dyndns user name without .dyndns.org?
