I have a question about quality.

I experienced one case of SPS product. When I drills holes on the wall, they are hollow and powdery ( not even sand ! ).

Will the developer accepts this as defect ?

I sold the property already, so now it's not my problem. blush.gif

I asked just in case I encounter that in the future. Will have a case against the developer if I face the same thing again.

Unlikely, and even if they will, what would u expect them to do?  Tear down the whole wall and build again.

Like I said, many developers are using this method to save cost.

I am not even talking about Tahan properties, using cardboard / newspaper to replace bricks.

Just using less sand, cement, more water, already can save lots of $$$ and like I said, u will know when u drill the wall

This was told to me also by many contractors who do renovation immediately after VP

Sometimes, owner even tear down some new walls and rebuild, esp for say wet kitchen, corner lots, etc

Sad but so common ....

The one I encountered was the bathroom. I was trying to install a towel hanger. Not one hole, almost all holes drilled on the wall were like that. It's hollow and dusty.

With this kind of wall, one can expect nothing to hold strong to the wall.

I just hope I don't get that in the future. I think not only SPS will cut corners on the wall quality, other developers will do the same.

You know these days it's common for people install big screen their 40" or even 60" TV onto the wall. If the wall quality is bad, the TV will not hold to the wall, it will fall down like durian.
